“They just don’t know it yet.”

“You’re not gonna go around naked. I’m older so I’m in charge of you.”

“Nooooooo, no no, you’re ruining my fantasy.”

“Elias, keep you clothes on!” 

“You can’t make me.”

          I’m excited too! I don’t remember going to the beach when I was little so its safe to say this is my first time going. Really? Mind sharing some with me if I see you around? My skin is horrid for the sun. I belong in the shadows.

“This will be so special for you, how great. I’m glad you’ll be coming along. Really really, I make it myself--that might sound strange but I’m a herbalist at Dodger’s Pharmacy, you can trust me. Aww I doubt that, you’re so friendly you should be out and about always.”

if elias had smiled in brighter he might have disintegrated the entire bar. eden returned the smile with another wide one of his own, sitting next to the witch. “well those people sound like dicks to be honest.” the ancient vampire says bluntly, a smirk pulling at his lips. “these right here,” he says, reaching out to touch elias’s clothing. “i designed these. you’re wearing them because i and a bunch of other men and women voted on them in a little room in new york.” he says, trying not to sound so proud of himself but failing entirely.

Eden’s smile encouraged him further, the warlock was simply chuffed to welcome him at his side. “Oh, I don’t know, important people tend to be busy with important things to do.” He chuckled, always willing to make excuses for jerks. When his sleeve was grasped he looked down, astounded. “I see! That’s amazing. I guess I never really thought about it.” Suddenly he felt he should be far more grateful.

“…Will it really? I… Maybe I’ll stay home…”

“Noooo.” Elias feigned a sob, grabbing Riley’s wrist and waving it up and down to smack Riley’s thigh. “It will be so much fun, you’ll see, please give it a try. They say there will be music and pretty sunsets every night.”

“I’m not sure. The drinking, the partying? The clothes off?”

“Oh come on, you know it’ll be fun and everyone will be doing it. It’s like a Vegas trip, not that I’ve ever been but movies always reference it.”

eden sucked in a bottom lip to keep from grinning, shifting his weight to one side. being a fashion designer eden made it his job to look at this best every moment of every day. “well thank you dear, that’s sweet of you.” he giggles, hopping off his stool and sticking his hands into his pockets. “in my own way i’m important i guess. someone needs to design the clothes we all wear.” the raven haired vampire says, waving a hand and shrugging.

Elias positively beamed, proud that his compliment had been worthwhile and made the stranger smile. “No worries, I usually say the first thing that comes to mind. I don’t see too many people dressed so nice, at least no one who bothers to talk to me.” The blond blabbed before seeming awestruck. “Whoa, what? What do you mean?”

          Thats the way to go about this trip! Wish I could tan without looking like a tomato.

“Haha!! Right? I’m so excited! I’ve only been to the beach a couple of times when I was younger. Hey, I have some great sun block that could help with that problem.”
