Today was like any other day, overworked Zani and her tired eyes. She was looking forward to going back home to you, to bask in your presence and your love, and also someone else.
The moment Zani stepped inside, she was immediately taken aback by someone with snow white hair like her's and little growing horns, literally wreaking into her like a cannon ball and Zani picked up the little girl right away. And you were behind your daughter with a soft smile on your face as you watch Zani spinning your around while your daughter was laughing with her hands opened wide.
"Welcome back mom! We made your favorite pizza!". Your daughter was excited to enjoy having her mom eat the pizza that she made with her mommy, looking at her with puppy eyes that looks exactly like your's. "Oh? Then what are we waiting for, let's eat." Zani said as she held her little demon om her hips and walked towards the dining room, not before giving you a kiss and greeting you.
After all of you finished dinner, Zani took a bath while you busy yourself with getting your daughter ready for bed in your shared bedroom, as you were tucking your daughter in, Zani finished showering and joined you as you were kissing your daughter on her forehead, she giggled when Zani kissed her and tickled her. "Can you read me bedtime stories? Please." Your daughter asked, and you complied because how can you not when your little demon is looking at you so cutely.
After she fell asleep halfway through the book, you and Zani made sure she was properly tucked in and gave her another kiss on her head. "How was your day today my love?" You asked quietly as to not wake your daughter up, Zani was wearing her horn covers as she was answering you, "Just the normal stuff, escorting people here and there. How was your's? Did the teacher say anything about our little demon today?" You have since quit your job at the Averardo Bank after giving birth to your daughter, opting to focus on raising her instead since Zani's earning is enough to keep all of you stable. "Yes, actually" you chuckled as you remembered the teacher's message, "Miss Eve said she got the highest grades in her class, perhaps a celebration is in order". "Hmm, I'll free my schedule then" Zani responded as she was joining you under the covers.
Her hands immediately wrap around you and your daughter, pressing herself into you and took a deep breath, she missed her wife after a long day of dealing with brainless customers and fairly rich people who thinks they are on top of the world. You brush your hands in her hair, occasionally stroking her horns which will get her to melt into your arms. "Goodnight my love." You murmured into her hair and she kissed your neck in response, your daughter also turned to hold you around your waist, burying her head into your chest. You continue stroking Zani's hair and horns until you hear her steady breathing and hold both of them a bit tighter as you also start to drift off to the land of dreams, with your world in your arms.

It was quite late into the night when Zani got home, it was a Friday and by some miracle you haven't fallen asleep after you came back from the Averardo Bank when you heard the door open and close. You found her in the living room where she was sitting on the sofa probably getting some rest from her (extended) shift and tried to sneak up on her and giving her a kiss on her head, when she felt it she opened her eyes and smiled at you with those tired eyes and greeted you.
"Hello love, why aren't you in bed?" She asked while tugging you towards her so you are sitting on her lap and straddling her and kissed her forehead. "Well I was strangely awake tonight" you told her while brushing a strand of hair off her face to which she immediately leans into your touch. "Would you like a bath? I could fill up the tub for you."
She smiled at your question, you were always so eager to pamper your wife any chance you got that it just makes her keep failing deeper in love with you. "Mhm.., would you like to go in with me?". It was your turn to smile this time, knowing this was Zani's indirect way of asking to be spoiled. "Of course my love, I'll wash your hair for you."
In the bath, while helping Zani wash her snow white hair, you threw in a light massage that helped Zani relaxed tremendously. You also helped her washed her horns which has her absolutely melting because of how tired she was and how good it felt.
You let Zani soak in the tub after you finished taking care of her and went out to make her some soup to which she finished quickly and you helped her dry her hair, by the time you are finished, she was already starting to doze of, you chuckled when you caught her falling asleep for a brief moment before waking herself up.
What caught you by surprised next was when you were lifted up and carried to bed the next moment (not complaining) and she snuggled up to you under your neck after kissing you goodnight and falling asleep the next second. You smiled and kissed her forehead and also her horns while helping her wear those cute little Christmas hats that she covers her horns with when she sleeps.
You murmured your goodnights when you are starting to fall asleep, lulled by her steady breathing and her warmth and wrapped your hands around her and snuggled closer together. You're excited for tomorrow which you two made plans to go on a date together since you both have the day off.
