Ok honest opinion on the Netflix adaptation, it was pretty solid. I went into it knowing it wasn't gonna be the same but open to it. But ummm yeah I could've done without the beginning if you saw you know what I mean. 😭 There were some iffy parts. But I actually enjoyed some of the changes they made. Might make another post on that. I mean Storylines jumped around a little more than I thought but I wasn't too mad about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The effects were fucking great

Appa and Momo were literally the cutest things I've ever seen and I want them both 🥺 the costumes were great, I'm lowkey obsessed with Aang's arrow. And I'd love to give a shout out to whoever did the make up making Zuko's scar look like an actual scar instead of just face paint.

I've fancasted the guy they chose to play Iroh for YEARS and he was perfect and made me love the character even more than I already do. Zhao can still go fuck himself. THE 👏🏻KYOSHI 👏🏻MOTHER 👏🏻FUCKING 👏🏻WARRIORS 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️ and I lowkey liked Aang being somewhat afraid of Kyoshi bc that woman scares me too. And we love the OG cabbage man making appearances YOU WERE GREAT KING🫶🏻 Also, I'm sure I'm going to have nightmares of Ko and Hei Bai 🙃sooo yep that's it.

I tested positive for Covid yesterday, (I’m vaccinated so my symptoms are lesser than they’d be otherwise, still sucks) and now one of my biggest role models died. Thanks for being a friend Betty and making this dark world a little brighter.
