Great was our desire for eachother

Urges emanated from our bodies

We stole away in night’s quiet

Feasting on one another we devoured, like wolves

Our howls at white fullmoons broke silence

We lie in bed after, illuminating different light now

Something didn’t feel right

Ways we fit, seemed to be missing pieces

Twilight dragged on, we ached for sunrising

When we awoke, we both snuck out

We left eachother without saying one word

In mornings after, we regretted deeply & secretly

I wish I had more time with her

More good time

More quality time

And I wish it wasn’t this way

She said things to me that she never said before

She called me ‘darling daughter’

And I wish there was more of that

More of that affection that we seemed to skip

I’ve never seen her be so tender as that before

It was really nice like I realized she loved me

I just wish it was all different

I wish many years were different

She wanted best for me but didn’t know to show it

And that, is something I grieve to this day
