anyway, this is such a good question

i’ve seen a ton of theories on who it could be like bose’s dad and stuff

there’s sm evidence for sm different theories bc like, there’s that one bts photo w tommy (drex’s actor) in it and another bts photo with frankini and the members of the cell (i’m p sure, last i saw that photo was before season 3’s release)

in the start of the season, the cell members repeat the phrase, “he is coming”. i assume this “he” is their leader

i also assume the leader is a preexisting villain because if it isn’t, i doubt a reveal would be all that interesting

i’m also to assume it‘s a villain that was once defeated and while both drex and frankini have been defeated, they’ve come across frankini and like, sang w him in a musical so idk if they’re all too worried abt him

drex, however, was kept in a cell under the man’s nest so i’m leaning towards it being drex, but if it is, that also feels kinda predictable

so atm, i have no definitive answer as to who i think it is, but i’m leaning towards either drex or frankini, with more suspicion on drex

edit: omg i knew there was a clip of tommy talking abt his role in the new season and i finally found it

in it, he says drex seems to be having a change of heart which likely means, drex isn’t leader of the cell
