"do you swing from your neck with the hope someone cares" yeah i do actually ethel how did you know??
Oh, I’m being questioned by police about the death of my best friend (that I caused)? hmm I wonder which book I should make sure I’m holding as I enter the interview room. Do you think that Homer or Thomas Aquinas will make a better impression?

I’m sure someone’s already talked about this before but I think the parallel between the backrooms and AI is so interesting (specifically the backrooms as shown by Kane Parsons).
The first time you ask AI to generate something, it might get pretty close, but if you look hard enough, you’ll find indications that something’s not right. Similarly, the upper levels of the backrooms, where the memory of what’s being replicated is still fresh, can almost pass as a piece of our world.
However, as you go deeper, the distortions grow more evident. Memory begins to fade, until nothing is left at all. The backrooms then begin to create something “new”.
Think of how artificial intelligence reacts when you ask it to create the same thing continuously. The image grows further and further from the original prompt, until you can barely remember what you started with. It’s “creation” grows less and less passable as human, until it becomes evident that it’s merely drawing from a draining source.
Again, I’m sure someone’s talked about this (no doubt more eloquently than I have), but I just wanted to share because I think it’s really interesting!
When you both have complicated relationships with your father, are oversexualized by the fandom, and have your body taken over to fulfill a man’s desires
Richard whose eyes, later into the book, stop looking like this
And start looking like this all the time
Richard who, later into the book, has been spotted wandering around at odd hours of the night, and whose eyes are scarily good at finding the people staring at him, but even better at staring through them rather than at them.
Richard who, later into the book, can catch someone staring from a scary distance and will continue to stare at them until his attention is divided elsewhere or the person leaves.
Richard who, later in the book, has had Judy, or occasionally Francis or one of the twins, walk into his room after not seeing him at class for a day or two and finding him pacing endlessly muttering to himself what he thinks his actually his thoughts, and is all nonsense that doesn't string together properly.
Richard who, later in the book, can be seen going through many emotions in a very short amount of time, especially when high/drunk.
Richard who, later in the book, can be caught in the middle of class staring into nothing without blinking for minutes on end with a wide-eyed look that instantly goes back to being like shown before when snapped out of it.
Richard who, later in the book, learns to mimic others to a T but in an uncanny way that makes it feels unnerving to speak to him, because he's familiar, but not in the right way.
Richard who, later in the book, becomes clearly mentally ill to others in a way that causes him to be very uncanny to everyone, including the Greek Freaks.
yall are complaining about homecoming going mainstream yet u edit the most popular tv shows and movies with it expecting nothing to happen

everyone talks about "they're all gonna laugh at me" and nobody "my love is my love and bleeds like a wound"
