She holds out her hands, which were covered in bandages burns and injuries

The magic from my seals and the seal on my hearts containment repel each other

Xinalith chuckled, humming quietly at her bandaged hands. Gesturing with their own to let them look at them, they continued.

I could try and smash it, but I don’t want to trigger anything. I could try and tough it out, but I’m afraid I might die. I could get someone else to grab it for me but there’s no angel in heaven that would do that. I could remove the seals, but I’m afraid of the effects.

So no, no thoughts

She suddenly perked up

Humming as they listened to her talk away, they gently started to remove the bandages. Thankfully, whilst there was remnants of holy magic within her burns, it wouldn't be enough to cause them too much pain. Plus, with Moon's guidance to reflect as much of it as possible, it looked like it'd be a fairly quick fix for the demon.

Placing their hand over hers, they would begin to remove the burns, a slight twitch to their eye as they felt the blessed power reach them. But, just as they had learned, they would internally repel it as they drained out the sensation, allowing her wounds to heal. Once done, they let go of them.

What of Idris? He is an angel and he seems to be on Michael's radar, so couldn't he help? Oh, yes, I should mention how I met him not too long ago.

Letting their hands fall back into their pockets, they tilted their head.

Idris is very…afraid of Michael, I don’t think he would do anything that would get himself into trouble, and I wouldn’t want to force him just for my sake.

She looked down

I’m not sure, I couldn’t get close enough to truly check, I just…knew it was them.

Hm. Not from what I’ve seen. That angel is always getting into shit.

And they had their own thoughts on the matter, evident in the way they rolled their eyes. Still, it would be thoughts that weren’t necessary here, so they kept quiet.

Xinalith glanced down at her when she mentioned asking them something, nodding briefly.

She shrugged

Although I guess he had to do something to end up fallen

She shook her head and hardened her face, focusing back in on her own problems.

So the only reason I found my heart was because I was attacked by myself but with black hair and she had a nail bat and kept telling me to fight her and calling me names.

And she ended up smashing the high angels residence and that’s how I was able to get inside. I actually tackled her down there

I thought I blacked out in the rubble, but I woke up in a perfectly intact building and the woman was missing, but I was still in a different place from where I started

Whilst an odd phenomenon, it isn’t entirely impossible for such an occurrence. What I can only assume is that you witnessed a hallucination that occurred when you were close to your heart. As aggressive as this vision may have been, it sounds like it was acting as a form of guide.

They lowered their hand then, returning their gaze to the angel before them.

Your heart is currently not where it should be. It is aware of this, just as much as you are now. With your own mind acknowledging this, it may have opened itself up to these visions.

If you want my advice, if this happens again, I would try and communicate with it. You know yourself better than anyone, so I have no doubt you’d be able to talk yourself out of the aggressive state should you try hard enough. You never know what you may learn from yourself.

That’s what i believed as well, but the part that confused me the most is the effects on the physical world, unless i just walked down there which opens a whole other can of worms.

She hated how it sounded, that her literal heart was in pain and was now causing visions of itself lashing out. But more than that, Celeste hated how she knew the demon was right. She knew her heart was in pain, hell, she even knew she was in pain.

But it stung to have it be so brazenly recognized

A lot of my theories, so far, have been proven as correct.

The demon noticed her sudden moment of quiet, simply gazing at her for a short while. Whilst they couldn't make out what she was thinking or what had caused the pause, they could at least deduct that it was something to do with her heart being where it currently was.

They've already acknowledged that, from her behaviour so far of trying to maintain a certain front, she wasn't one to reveal her true feelings. If there was a crack in her persona, Celeste was quick to cover it up. Hells, she did it earlier, stopping herself from laughing.

Something that, perhaps in one aspect, they could also relate to.

I was just wondering if you knew anything about that type of phenomenon or what was going on.

When Celeste recounted her experience, Xinalith averted their gaze for a moment, a finger and thumb resting on their chin in thought.

Whilst an odd phenomenon, it isn’t entirely impossible for such an occurrence. What I can only assume is that you witnessed a hallucination that occurred when you were close to your heart. As aggressive as this vision may have been, it sounds like it was acting as a form of guide.

They lowered their hand then, returning their gaze to the angel before them.

Your heart is currently not where it should be. It is aware of this, just as much as you are now. With your own mind acknowledging this, it may have opened itself up to these visions.

If you want my advice, if this happens again, I would try and communicate with it. You know yourself better than anyone, so I have no doubt you’d be able to talk yourself out of the aggressive state should you try hard enough. You never know what you may learn from yourself.

That’s what i believed as well, but the part that confused me the most is the effects on the physical world, unless i just walked down there which opens a whole other can of worms.

Nevertheless, your theories do make a lot of sense, especially about being a type of guide. It really did feel like I was being toyed with in a way, like she would stay right behind me unless I went the “wrong way” then she got faster and cut me off

Celeste went quiet for a minute after saying this, the way Xinalith worded it making her internally grimace. She sounded so vulnerable and she hated it. She hated how it sounded, that her literal heart was in pain and was now causing visions of itself lashing out. But more than that, Celeste hated how she knew the demon was right. She knew her heart was in pain, hell, she even knew she was in pain.

But it stung to have it be so brazenly recognized

I could try and smash it, but I don’t want to trigger anything. I could try and tough it out, but I’m afraid I might die. I could get someone else to grab it for me but there’s no angel in heaven that would do that. I could remove the seals, but I’m afraid of the effects.

Humming as they listened to her talk away, they gently started to remove the bandages. Thankfully, whilst there was remnants of holy magic within her burns, it wouldn't be enough to cause them too much pain. Plus, with Moon's guidance to reflect as much of it as possible, it looked like it'd be a fairly quick fix for the demon.

Placing their hand over hers, they would begin to remove the burns, a slight twitch to their eye as they felt the blessed power reach them. But, just as they had learned, they would internally repel it as they drained out the sensation, allowing her wounds to heal. Once done, they let go of them.

What of Idris? He is an angel and he seems to be on Michael's radar, so couldn't he help? Oh, yes, I should mention how I met him not too long ago.

Letting their hands fall back into their pockets, they tilted their head.

Idris is very…afraid of Michael, I don’t think he would do anything that would get himself into trouble, and I wouldn’t want to force him just for my sake.

She shook her head and hardened her face, focusing back in on her own problems.

So the only reason I found my heart was because I was attacked by myself but with black hair and she had a nail bat and kept telling me to fight her and calling me names.

And she ended up smashing the high angels residence and that’s how I was able to get inside. I actually tackled her down there
