i forgot to mention that i am an adult learning tech things all week in form of school and work -> busy all the time

  “I don’t know… I mean, I hope so. Honestly, at this point, I’d be fine with just finding an outdoor goods store and taking some sleeping bags, they’re at least better than the ground…”

  Terra took a seat around the fire, digging into his own can of ravioli. One thing he’s glad for is the fact that they managed to find food. A couple of bags of canned goods should last them for a few weeks. Not only that, but they had managed to find some sort of a shelter. It was a house. Terra wasn’t sure if it had been abandoned before or after the apocalypse, but pictures and other personal belongings were scattered around. They told the story of the life that this house had seen before everything fell apart.

  By the time they had come across the house, it had been raided, all the food and obviously useful items had been taken. There were bed-frames upstairs, but no beds. He had been so excited by the idea of sleeping in actual beds, that it was quite a letdown. 

  Terra saw the place as being a good base for the time being, It was on the outskirts of the town so there’s not a lot of zombies around, and spent a lot of time reinforcing it. It was only when they had gone out looking for supplies that they got ambushed. They made their fire in the kitchen, on the tile floor. Terra had taken two of the dining room chairs and placed them around the fire. There they sat now. Terra continued on his train of though about what they would do if they found a store like the one he had mentioned.

  “Not to mention, if we do find one, we can get some Zombie killing tools. There are all sorts of sports things we can use as weapons, like baseball bats.”

Sora nodded at that. “I think at this point, everything is better than sleeping on the ground and using your bag as a pillow.” 

He couldn’t remember when he actually felt warm the last time. When he wasn’t cold from the weather, then he was cold from the constant fear that living in this zombie-infested world brought with it. Not even the fire he now sat at really helped with that. At least the food was warm. Before the apocalypse, Sora could easily handle eating his food cold, but now, when every single fire was a risk of being discovered by zombies or hostile survivors, it wasn’t that simple. 

“I’d kill for a hot shower. Do you think they have running water here? I didn’t check, yet”, he said around a bite of ravioli. He had seen the bathroom, messy and stripped of towels, the contents of the bathroom cabinet (medicine?)  missing, but hadn’t been willing to deal with the disappointment just yet. All that running around and sleeping on the ground made him feel dirty. 

“Oh yeah, a baseball bat would be neat. I’d put nails in it, I think. If we find any, that is.” As long as the nails won’t get stuck he should be good to go. A hunting knife strapped to his belt was all he had to defend himself right now. Luckily, he was light on his feet, but he’d be thankful for a weapon that granted him more distance to his pursuers. 

Gwen stopped where she stood and pulled the hood down “U….Um… h…hello.” The girl greeted Sora looking around nervously, “my name is Guinevere. I…I wouldn’t be surprised that you haven’t seen me I’m told to not really make myself known all that much.” The ginger explained to him, playing with the drawstrings of her hood. “It’s nice t…to meet you.” She said quietly.

Sora took her in for a few moments and then promptly decided not to call for his keyblade. The girl didn’t seem like she wanted to attack him.

“Hello, Guinevere. I’m Sora. Nice to meet you, too, I think”, he said, a little unsure. He then eyed her cloak, that looked exactly like the ones the Nobodies wore. It didn’t necessarily mean that the person wearing it was evil. Still.

“Are you with the Organization XIII? Because I’m not gonna let you hurt these people”, he made a motion that involved the marketplace with his left hand.

“It's been a hard day, lets go sit around the fire." 

“Sure!”

Today they just barely escaped a small horde of zombies, so Sora was more than ready for a few moments of quiet (who was he kidding? a whole week of quiet would be an actual blessing) and followed Terra to the fire. 

Sora was examining a cart full of fruit in the marketplace of Corona, when he noticed a cloaked person approaching him. An organization member?
