First haul I’ve had in a long time

Story time

So I was at Safeway yesterday getting groceries. I didn’t need to lift anything. I had like $60 of stuff in my cart and I just had an impulse to take something. So I put some stuff in my pockets and went along with my shopping. The security guard at this safeway stood next to me and when I looked at him he goes “don’t do it” and maybe it was a joke but I’m not sure so I took stuff out of my pockets and put it in my cart to pay for it. It was so strange and I’m pretty disappointed in myself for trying to impulse lift

Claire’s is stepping up their game. I think they also are remodeling and adding hidden/more discreet cameras. Someone offered me a bag and followed me around 2 minutes after I concealed and they were told from someone in the back. Mall security then showed up within 5 minutes. They were blatantly obvious that they were following me and were talking about a suspicious person 5 ft away. This doesn’t mean all Claire’s but still watch out!

The Claire’s where I live is still a gold mine. But my city has a real shit hole of a mall

LOL it would be similar to lifting an electronic at Walmart. If it’s out, then just grab it, stick it in your purse, and then go the the bathroom to check if it’s source tagged. If it is, remove the tag, if it’s not, you’re safe to walk out 👌

Moving Out

Hey guys,

I’m moving out of my parents soon and into my own apartment and was wondering if y'all had a lifting list for a new apartment and maybe a few stores that are good to get apartment stuff at?? Help a girl out 💖

Honestly dollar stores are easy and have a lot of good household items and cleaning supplies

Here’s a good list I can come up with

Dish soap

Detergent

Laundry soap

Sheets

Wall decor

Dishes

Pots and pans

Cleaning sprays

Magic erasers

Food because when you first move in your fridge is empty! (How dare they)

Swiffer pads (I lifted my whole swiffer lmao)

Vacuum bags

Trash bags

Ziplocks

Tupperware

Coffee

Toilet paper (it’s easy to just put in the bottom rack of a cart while you grocery shop and not have them notice it at check out)

Paper towels

Some basic tools (like pliers and screwdrivers)

Command hooks and strips for decorating

I lifted a security camera set since living alone is scary

Towels

Dish rags

Maybe a few things that are special to your parents house to remind you of home. Helps with home sickness (I got some hand towels with dogs on them like my mom uses and it’s little things like that to cheer me up)

A little advice with moving out. It’s a bit of a shock to have to take care of a whole home on your own. Everything needs to be cleaned and that stressed me out so that I do nothing and it adds up. Every morning I like to just pick one thing to tidy and do it. Just one thing each day.

Okay y'all, I know this is technically against the Lifter Code of Conduct, but there’s this consignment shop in my town. And since my family is strapped for cash right now, my mom and I took a ton of our clothes in and they said we’d have the money once they sorted through all of it (which took a month since it was so much clothes). So a month after to the date, we went back in and asked if our check was ready since it was agreed we’d have it then. Then these fuckers said they didn’t owe us anything because the clothes didn’t qualify, and then KEPT ALL 2 TRASH BAGS OF CLOTHES ANYWAYS AND FILED IT AS “DONATION” AND WHEN I GO IN I SEE MY OLD SHIRTS ON THE SALES FLOOR. So, as revenge, I stole the most expensive thing in their store to make up for the money we lost because of them: this wedding ring set.

They had this listed for $150 even though I’ve seen this EXACT set on wish and that’s most likely where it came from because after a day of wearing the band my skin was turning green.

So, TL;DR: A mom and pop business screwed my family over, so I screwed them in return.
