Moi! Last week contained a lot of strolling trough rainy Berlin with Oona, visiting the #Berlin Instagram Exhibition (how cool is that), some Art gallery action with the University, being amazed by all the christmas lights and taking bunch of instagrams.

How was your week? Are you guys already on a christmas mood? I totally need to buy myself christmas calendar and some glögi / gluhwein... Songs playing in my head this week:  Tom Odell - Another Love (Zwette Edit)  The Hunna - She's Casual  - Juuso S.

1. Berlin has the most coziest, hipstery and livingroomlike Bars in the world. Some of these places don’t even have a sign or a clear entrance, and in some you get bad looks when trying to take a photo with your smartphone. -> go to any cozy looking spot in weserstrasse and ask for weissbeer, you’ll be happy.

2. You can’t pay with debit / credit card, even with german one, at least in 95% of places anyways, even big international chains like Burger King wont take card and they will look at you like you’re the weird one trying to pay with card. 

3. People generally do not speak english. some do. most don’t.

4. There is a lot of graffiti but you don’t really notice them after a while. Also, they’re not that great. Of course there are exceptions.

5. Parks. Berlin is actually the greenest metropolitan in whole Europe with amazing large parks like Tempelhof (old airport) and Tiergarten (342 hectares).

6. Metro stations look very different from each other, lot’s of different colors and tile covered walls...check Alexanderplatz: it looks like an abandoned spa of some sort.

7. Dogs. They're everywhere, even in cafes and shopping malls and they’re awesome. They’re usually very well trained as well, it’s a normal thing to see a dog without a leash, faithfully running after his owner who’s riding a bike trough the city. 8. Biking. This city is made for biking, they’re are bike roads almost everywhere and if there isn't you can pretty smoothly ride with cars, drivers are used to it. Sometimes it’s faster to bike a 5km distance  than to take the public transportation (which is btw the best in Europe).

9. German. Beer. Is. Amazing. (and sold everywhere and anytime from movie theaters to university cafeterias.) 10. DÖNER.  Go to Neukölln (the arabic area more or less) and find a place that has huge rolling meat by the window, ask for Dürüm Döner, also make sure to ask for the Chicken meat if they have two kinds of Kebab. City’s best Kebab place is a food truck called Mustafas, they even have their own fancy website.

1. Golden Hour (google is your friend).

2. Take your most handsome / beautiful / coolest / freakiest looking friend with you. 

3. Take portraits. Remember: nice light and interesting background.

4. Spooky Levitation photos. If your camera goes into manual mode = make the shutter fast, aperture wide open and pump up that iso -> then tell your friend jump and shoot away.

5. EDIT -> Desaturate a bit, add some sharpness, tiny bit clarity and you know VSCO (the app I mean, for you people who actually have real life and may not know every single social media / photo app in existence) helps for beginners.
