Call me a junkie, I survived addiction. But you don't know the crippling darkness it took to choose drugs over life. Call me a cutter. But you never understand why cutting seems to comfort the demon inside me. Self destruction is the beast that consumes me. Performing self surgery to see if I choose to live or die this time. Skillfully slicing around veins like a surgeon. Russian roulette at its finest. Call me an anorexic. Because I am. Don't tell me too just eat..i would if I could. You don't know how hard it is to have food be the enemy. Call me traumatized but I am. That's what ptsd and sexual assault has done to me. Mental health drains you. Just because you can't see an illness doesn't mean it's not there. JH
