okay so, fully moved into new house, we had. a bajillion issues with the contractors and plumbing issues pop up, the run around from the insurance company. and, my roomie finally met with an attorney. ( for those of you who do not KNOW my brother passed in oct. '25 and my life has been in an huge upheaval in the middle of us trying to find a house to be closer to him. )

I'm still thinking about remaking? but I genuinely don't really know. maybe i'll just stay here and revamp x3 or something, but I do miss writing a lot.

my health is finally under control post-surgery and meds! and i've been able to fully work again, so that's been great! especially now that all my housing stuff is fixed up and it's just updating things as we need/want to.

hair is carefully twisted this way and that, pulled into place by some ornate hair accessory he'd brought to her as a gift. still sometimes knots churn when she turns to look at him. the guilt heavy on her mind. the river sounds loudly off behind them, and a hand moves, slowly collecting about his forearm. the muscle is taut there, pulled into hard lines of thought, entire body tensed as if wanting to speak.

❛ you've been training quite hard lately, do you ━ want to talk about anything ? ❜ it's a careful statement, calm. her voice has always been something akin to hearing the chimes music on the wind. red hues focus for a moment, hand moving to carefully straighten hair out like she might with any of her own students.

❛ sorry for such short notice.. ❜ it's meant genuinely, in the way her gaze lingers just enough to ensure there isn't any actual issue. she's learned a long time ago that it's not just her that loses sleep over some of these cases. hopefully, the small offering of baked goods will settle any cracks about such a late. . . maybe early wake up call.
