Grand Theft Auto IV (2008) -Â âThe Cousins Bellicâ
gonna clean up this blog next week!
& there is ONE BLAZING MOMENT in which you finally understand that there was no dragon. that there was no vader. that there was only you. ONLY ANAKIN SKYWALKER. that it was all youâ is you. only you. YOU DID IT. #JEDICIDE.
large hand swats at the board on the table, as if he could somehow smack a hologram away, taking the âquit the gameâ thing a little too literally, but heyâ  like momma always said, better be dumb but safe, than smart but dead.   âittu, tash, whatâre we gonna d- urk!â   sliding out of his seat, and stumbling behind her, bogo wastes not a single second in flipping on his survival mode, and, disregarding what she said, or was going to say, he turns the situation around, and taking ahold of her wrist, he proceeds to run full steam ahead towards the closest thing that resembled an emergency exit.   ââŚ!â   and without a hitch, he busted right through the exit with little to no flair, little to no theatrics, no.  they were no jedi. at least, not him.   âwhereâre we goinâ now?!â   the commotion certainly gave up their position, but at least, now they werenât stuck in a corner⌠  âs-steal something?  put on wigs?  appeal to their sense of mercy?  break out into song?  ahhhh, tee, weâre gonna d i e !â
eyes flashing with a hint of annoyance, they even themselves out with adrenaline as bogoâ with his usual lack of subtletyâ yanks her toward the emergency exit. the sudden burst of motion sends her heart racing, whatever remaining part of her composure flying through the sky and entering the atmosphere. tasha komad was known to panic. â kriff! stop screaming! you're freaking me out! â where her faults lie, so does her strengthsâ her panic led to scenarios racing through her minds, their safety dimming with every passing moment. the antics of their escape had indeed given up their position, the distant sounds of stormtrooper boots closing in around them. they need a plan and fast. the walls closing in, an old building loomedâ without a second thought, she points. â in there! â this time, she's the one yanking bogo into the building as she barrels through the door.

[ ... FILED: OPERATION âââ. AGENTS: WOODS, F. PARK, H. DATE: â, âââ, 1986. LOCATION: âââââ, âââ. ]
HER BREATH SHOWS IN THE NIGHT AIR LIKE CIGARETTE SMOKE, fingers near-trembling as they ready her rifle. she reaches towards him â silently asking for a clip from his pack.
WORKING TOGETHER AGAIN. IT'S JUST LIKE OLD TIMES. [@libertycities: frank woods]
brow quirks; she allows herself a glance upward to gauge his expression. truth be told, there were few people, if any in this world who truly knew helen â frank came close. too close. she folds inward and is reminded: they share a lot of the same sins. their hands are stained the same shade of sanguine.
"i wouldn't exactly say our last gig was worth a trip down memory lane â i'm not feeling particularly nostalgic." see translation: [i've spent a lot of time trying to forget what we did to that woman for cause and country.] she turns away from him, coat rustling as she settles onto her stomach in the snow, soft and frigid. gaze to scope. she's quiet for a long time, before: "i don't see anyone. i think we should get closer." their objective is clear: watch from afar. take a shot if they can get a line of sight on the target. infiltration is not a two agent task. but helen's on lease â the lended gun â and they aren't just any two agents. even still, his boss is fewer phone calls away...
"ââ unless you'd like to ask daddy for permission first?"
it's a dance they've perfected over years of missions and close calls. with a gaze as sharp as his instincts, frank watches helen's every move. the cold air doesn't seem to faze him; the chill only sharpens his focus. reaching into his pack, his movements fluid and practiced, and hands her the clip without a word. silence. it's more peaceful this way. moving to a nearby tree, he leans against itâ stance casual yet alert, a rifle slung over his shoulder. the silence between them is thick and would require a cleaver to slice through, charged with unspoken words and shared ghosts. some better left buried. for both their sakes. â nostalgic? nah, that's not the word i'd use. â his voice low and even, a hint of a smirk plays on his lips, though his eyes betray no amusement. for cause and country, right?
watching her settle into the snow, he scans the areaâ searching for any sign of movement in the darkness but spotting no figures. a warehouse rests to the left, most likely housing foreign material. nuclear, one could presume, but not explicitly stated. not until the warehouse had been breached. â fuck. getting closer's riskyâ but i trust your call, park. â hudson's orders had been clear from the beginning, but at her jibe about asking for permission, he chuckles. a deep, rumbling sound that seems out of place in the still night.
â daddy can wait. last time i checked, we're the ones freezin' our fucking asses off out here. â
đđˇđ´ đťđ°đđ đžđľ đđ [đ´đżđ¸đđžđłđ´ đžđ˝đ´] đđ´đ˝đđ´đ˝đ˛đ´ đđđ°đđđ´đđ.  feel free to change pronouns/tenses/anything to suit scenarios, etc.
and thatâs your biggest worry?
the whole world becomes sick all at once.
i presume the prospect of a viral pandemic keeps you up at night as well.
well, now there is reason to evolve.
i was gonnaâ make you birthday pancakes.
you know i donât really like pancakes.
youâre still alive, you old fucker.
heâs dependent on me. not the same.
iâm not splittinâ this job.
i barely wanna split it with you.
we could work a double.
iâll bring back a cake.
shit. hope for us yet.
canât tell you how exciting it was listeninâ to that fuckinâ conversation.
i swear you will use this later in life.
hey, is everything okay? like, on the news?
there was just a lot of police and stuff on the road today.
people out there need to get right with jesus.
i was thinkinâ weâd make some cookies.
you wannaâ give me a hand?
you locked the door for once. good job.
that doesnât mean anything to you, iâm sorry.
iâll get us one tomorrow.Â
you got me a present?
whereâd you get the money for this?
i sell hardcore drugs.
itâs better than what i do.
i couldâve stolen 60, but i put the change back because iâm an honest thief.
besides, itâs the thought that counts.
you were never gonna do it for yourself, so.
but iâm in jail.Â
wasnât my fault this time!
look, it doesnât fuckinâ matter.
itâs a fuckinâ madhouse, [name].
get in the truck! right now!
weâre gonnaâ be brave, and weâre gonnaâ get outta this.
[name], you get back inside the house!
theyâre saying itâs a virusâ some kind of parasite.
minute ago, newsman wouldnât shut up.
how do you know weâre not sick?
theyâre saying itâs mostly people in the city.
somebody elseâll come along.
fuck! everybody had the same fuckinâ idea.
i canât get through this.
son of a bitch, gottaâ go around. grab somethinâ!
i canât drive through âem all.
thereâs nowhere to fuckinâ go!
easy now. weâre not sick!
weâre gonna get you somewhere safe first.Â
i gottaâ get you up.
thereâs gonna be a little tickle right here.Â
or i could just shoot you.Â
yeah, but then what would you do?
i just know theyâre real.
pills and bullets, bullets and pill.
well, the more you shoot people, the harder it is to sleep, i guess.
i need the bag back.
hey, do yourself a favor⌠stay off the streets for the next few nights.
fuckinâ fireflies been blowinâ shit up all week.
two of our guys got shot this morning.Â
itâs easy to make a mistake in the dark.Â
what do you want me to say, [name]?
itâs not like i planned on⌠rippinâ you off.
how about we just let it go?
what else are you gonnaâ do?
you gonnaâ keep me here? kill me?
i want you to forget this ever happened.
i paid you for it, you sold it to someone else, and you spent my money.Â
i mean, you think iâve never done shit like that?
my guys fucked you up.
you cut off a finger or whatever the fuck you wantâ i donât care.
theyâre your fuckinâ guys.Â
i give you my word that he wonât hurt you.
theyâre shooting. theyâre shooting at us.Â
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, fuck⌠you.Â
hey, people are gonna come looking for me!
let me out or youâre gonna pay, motherfuckers!
iâm not supposed to be here!
is there any chance itâs cominâ in at night?
itâs never taken him more than a day to respond.
youâre a capable guy, but there are worse things than infected out there.
i got jumped by a couple guys.Â
you know these guys were born after the outbreak. never learned how to argue, they just start swinginâ.Â
itâs a miracle youâre alive.Â
itâs a miracle any of us are alive.Â
nothingâs lost. shit like this is gonnaâ happen.Â
now we just shake it off, and we go get our cards back, or the battery.Â
okay, fuck it, we get our money back and the battery.Â
but i would very much like for you to hurt him.Â
letâs go hunt that motherfucker down.Â
my answer is to follow fuckinâ orders.
why do you have some random girl locked in a room?
we are in a war against a military dictatorship to restore democracy and freedom.
are we winning?
you tell me to look for the light and iâll break your jaw.
how about we start with thank you?
i am the one who told âem not to shoot you, if you recall.
you that anxious to be a soldier?
you think i chose that place?
they put me there when i was a baby. itâs for orphans.Â
you my fucking mom or something?
do i look like your mom?
why wonât you let me go home?
you have a greater purpose than any of us couldâve ever imagined.
what iâm going to tell you cannot be repeated to anyone. because if you do, i assure you, you will die.Â
take it he wasnât down here last time?
you think he came down after he was infected?
itâs like they reframed the whole structure.Â
what the fuck? someone put a piano in front of this?
war must be goinâ pretty shitty for you to be buying from scumbags like him.Â
he obviously didnât take fuck off for an answer.Â
i need it for a better reason than you do.Â
youâre the cause of it. you turned my own brother against me.Â
we wonât make it anywhere like this. not for a while anyway.Â
oh, you donât have time?
i know what youâre capable ofâ for better or worse.Â
my team will not jeopardize that.Â
remember what i told you?
the radioâs a smuggling code, right?
iâve never been on the other side of the wall.
so, whatâs the deal with you anyway?
you some kinda bigwigâs daughter or somethinâ?
holy shit, iâm actually outside.
you stay close and you follow my lead.Â
okay, letâs talk this out.Â
yep. weâre doinâ this by the book.
you wouldâve killed me!
i should fucking kill you!
it doesnât matter! you have to trust me!
theyâre gonna catch us if we donât run!
@libertycities / seth said: if i get caught, nothing can save me. nothing.
âdude, you inhaled secondhand smoke, youâre not going to jail.â
shifty-eyed and twitchy, evan stood at the corner of the street, looming over a slumped over seth in a bush, moaning and groaning nonsense about being caught by the⌠ what was it he said?   âstop saying âthe popoâ man, thatâs like, a bad omen.  youâre just trying to jinx it at this point. âs like saying bloody mary three times in the mirror.â   okay, okay, maybe evan had also inhaled a little bit of that secondhand smoke, and was feeling the effects⌠ or maybe he was just humoring him.  yeah, humoring him, of course.  extending a hand down towards his friend, evan urged him to get back on his feet with a very stern, and almost father-like scowl.   âget upâ câmon man, get up!  i think i hear someone comingâŚâ
sprawled in a bush and looking up at evan with wide, panicked eyes, waved off the offered hand with a dramatic flourish. â dude, you don't get it, â he groaned, his voice a mixture of despair and melodrama. [if this was one of those shitty lifetime movies his mom watched during the holidays, he'd be winning all the milfs over with his performance.] â the secondhand smoke is the least of my worries. it's like a gateway to the dark side, man. first, it's secondhand smoke, then suddenly you're in a police lineup being identified by some old lady as a notorious jaywalker! â he sat up, his hair tousled and face flushed red with the theatrics of his predicament.
â and the popo? that's real, evan. it's like invoking the spirits of law enforcement. you say it three times, and bam! they appear in a cloud of donuts and fucking handcuffs! â
@libertycities / lamar said: what? okay, relax. relax! what did i do?
despite his gaudy, and perhaps over-the-top outward appearance, anyone who knew johnny gat could say he possessed quite the composed personality.  so it was odd, and even out of place, to see him so riled up, his usual laidback smirk turned stormy and blackened by the encroaching clouds of the wrath bubbling at the back of his stomach.  like a volcano, readying itself to explode.   âyou wanna tell me truth now, lamar?â   his pacing was feverish, back and forth, in front of his desk, before it all came to a halt⌠ johnny quit his nervous walking, and sat down atop the mahogany counter, arms crossed in front of his chest.
âmy people told me thereâs been an issue, with your people. they ain't happy- he's not happy.â Â Â those clouds were quick to dissipate, but his somewhat stern expression didnât seem like it was going to leave his features any time soon. Â Â âsomethinâ âbout a shipment, or a drop-off, or somethinâ like that. Â your guys didnât deliver. Â you know julius doesnât fuck with sneaky shit like that.â Â Â his gaze draws and fires an arrow at the seat right in front of his, pushing the chair away from the desk with his shoe, in an irritated attempt at getting him to sit down. Â Â âi trust you. Â now youâre gonna sit the fuck down, nâ youâre gonna tell me whatâs going on.â
it's hard to keep his voice smooth and unhurried as a chair nearly flies into his abdomen, lamar making a left step with a millisecond to spareâ but he manages. he keeps his cool. â man, you know how it is out here! â johnny wasn't one to lose his composure without a good reason, and this clearly wasn't just some everyday beef. (it's one of the many reasons the two were able to get along: easygoing with a mutual respect for the game. eyes glancing over to the chairâ he strolls over to it. it's been proffered now. sinking into it, his posture relaxes but his eyes sharp, meeting the other's intense gaze head-on. â streets keep changingâ sometimes things don't go as planned, you feel me? look, johnny, ain't nobody tryna play julius or your crew. it's just, you know, complications and whatnot. â his hands gesture casually, as if to brush off the seriousness of the situation. and to get the heat off his own back. â but you know me: i'm all about solutions, not problems! â employee of the month type shit.
he leans forward, his tone becoming more earnest. â so, here's the deal: there was a mix-up with the shipment. some unexpected heat we had to dodge. but i got my boys on it and we're gonna make it right. you know i ain't about that sneaky shit. it's all about respect, dog. â

" and that doesn't just make your skin crawl ? " ( kettle, meet pot ! )
@libertycities SC.
despite her perking interest, discomfort pinches her features. neither of which she attempts to hide. hugging her arms impossibly tighter at her chest, char feels impossibly small in the looming archway.
â nah, not really. kinda makes me hungry. â head peering through the hallway, a carnage is spilled across a pre-war bedroom. a wastelander's body, carved open from the neck to navel, and ripe for the takingâ most of it had already been plucked from the source. if not by raiders, then by the radroaches skittering around it. three bullets are shot from her 9mm pistol and three bullets connectâ bingo! the roaches stop moving, falling lifeless around the defiled decaying corpse. sienna's head cranes around, staid attention falling onto her companion. â wanna get those? they're dinner for t'night. â
Ballerina ë°ë 댏ë (2023)
SHE FEIGNS SERIOUSNESS FOR BLAIR'S SAKE; A PERFORMANCE ALMOST ENTIRELY WASTED ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD. soft features barely react to her whirlwind of words â was that a compliment? answer: cue the backhand. serena turns the other cheek with a cherry flavored lip glossed grin. "ah," â tone dripping with purposeful saccharin // just enough to churn one's stomach, "you know: this level of insecurity isn't really new-and-improved-blair of you." a beat of silence between them allows for a sip of her green goddess smoothie. it also gives her a second to rethink her approach. dial it back, serena. be supportive. the alternative threatens a juicy headline: CLAWS OUT AGAIN! OUR FAVORITE 'BESTIES' SPILL BLOOD OVER GREEK YOGURT. [ yeah, that'd be sure to rake in the clicks. serena prefers her artists starving. the ones who like to air her dirty laundry out for the better part of nyc to take a sniff, anyway. once again, fuck you, gossip girl. ] "besides, what do you have on him that'd be worth the risk of admission fraud, anyway? sex tape? mistress? ... sex tape featuring the mistress?" she nudges blair's arm with her own; a playful gesture, though the brunette's monologue still echos.
your future is secured for you. you don't have to work for anything. smile, serena. let the pieces fall into place.
fuck the pieces! fuck the whole board! she'd rather be drinking mojitos in bali. somewhere far away from anyone who knows who the hell serena van der woodsen even is. the thought comes with a twinge of guilt. there are people out there who'd kill to be you, while you'd give anything to be allowed to crawl out of your own skin.
"i know you have a better plan than that. one that doesn't land us both in orange jumpsuits, preferably? â not really my color, b."
her perfectly manicured nails tap rhythmically against her rose fendi peekaboo handbag, eyes flickering between a hybrid of annoyance and amusement. serena's cloying words slide off blair like water off a duck's backâ a mental reminder is made to steal dorota later for a trip to central park to feed them. insecurity, though? noâ that meant vulnerability. and blair waldorf is the furthest thing from vulnerable. with a breath, one that flairs her nostrils from the speed and weight of it, her jaw clenches. â oh, pleaseâ spare me your pseudo-psychological analysis. â voice dripping with her trademark blend of condescension and refinement, a sidelong glance is shot in retaliation of the blonde's grin. watching as her painted carmine lips took a sip of her verdant smoothie, blair couldn't help but roll her eyes at the absurdity of their conversation. she had more important matters at hand than indulging in petty bickering. specifically arguing with serena's attempt at faux empathy. [there's a nagging voice in the back of her head. correction: her empathy isn't fake. it's real and her concern is too. but it doesn't make swallowing the huge pill any easier.]
but the moment the question is asked of blair's plan, her eyes light up like the cityscape at twilight. all is forgotten and forgiven! (at least for the moment.) she's beaming and glimmering, just like the sun radiating on them. â trust me, if i had a sex tape on him, you would've been the first person i called. â without hesitation, her fingers dip into her purse and retrieve her blackberry curve, pulling up the most recent picture on her camera roll. dean berube, donned in a black suit and tie, wrapped in the arms of another fellow man inside the sapphire club on 60th street. a silhouette can be made out, a red scarf wrapped around the neck of the other maleâ blair holds her index finger out in serena's face: hold please! another swipe is taken, another photo is revealed and so is mystery man's face: chuck bass. two birds, one stone. a win-win for the weekly rendition of the blair witch project.
â i'm still collecting ammunition, but i think this is a perfect way to start a war. â a pause and a beat passes. â a war without orange jumpsuits and non-fluffy handcuffs, obviously. â
death wasnât a word in the rodianâs dictionary⌠ not because of any badass, daredevil, warrior-like reasons, just because he had absolutely decided, on principle, to remove the word from his mind, and the concept too!  motive being:  if i donât think about it, it simply just wonât happen.   âah câmon tash it canât be that bad câmon donât be such a dââ   thereâs something incredibly compelling and comical in the abrupt ending of his sentence, as those big beady black eyes of his proceeded to look up from the table, tracing a line towards the crowd at the door of the cantina, and with a subtle exhale of breath, bogoâs snout crumpled all the way up, his words but a wheeze.   âdoesthismeanigottaquitmygameââ
if there was a definition for what they were, it would be screwed. tighter than a gear on a delta-7 starfighter. her irises watch as bogo's demeanor changes noting the commotion at the cantina's entrance. through a window, she spots three stormtroopers enclosing around the perimeterâ blaster rifles toted in hands. â yeah, i think it means you gotta quit the game! â without a second thought, tasha's grabbing the rodian's arm and tugging him from the chair he'd been sitting on. beneath her beige poncho, her yellow lightsaber is holstered and easy enough to retrieve. not that she would like matters to come to that. she would like the total opposite, truthfully. â there should be another door somewhereâ the senate passed a law years ago about fire safety. a building has to have a fire exit... i think. â
@calientas said: if you can imagine it, you have fucked it.
what is there to not love about a fiery woman? don wouldn't know. a sly smile plays on his lips as he leans back in his nofowle armchair. â imagination's a powerful thing, baby! â hands moving to rest themselves behind his head, his elbows extend outwardâ shoulders raising in an aplomb shrug. â but hey, why imagine when we can make it a reality? â charisma oozing through every word, a frisky wink is sent in the redhead's direction. [careful don... you're already treading on thin ice with cassandra. don't push your luck too hard with nina.]
