Welcome to Part 3 of the #rags2business challenge; Painter's Business!

The small town life isn't something for every sim. Their parents might've loved the fresh air and the quiet town, but this was all way too... similar for their child. They want to see the vibrant colors and faces of the city, so they move out with just enough money to buy a small flat and start following their dream of becoming the greatest artist the city has ever seen!

But will anyone even want to buy their art?

Details about the 3. Gen 

You need a pack like City Living to have an apartment, where you have to manage to either seperate your work from your daily chores or integrate it. it really depends on how big the apartment is.

A small flat in San Myshuno like 19 Culpepper fits as a start and then maybe move to a bigger lot like 930 Medina Studios (after kicking the inhabitants out…)

You can go over to your next generations challenge when you:

-r adopted child is at least in teen age

finished all the goals from the challenge-sheet

have had at least 1 relationship

After growing up on the farm of their parents, their child dreams of bringing a little bit of sweetness into the life of their neighbours so they move to the busier part of town to sell sweet and savoury treats to the locals. On the way of their journey as a professional baker they will adopt fluffy friends and meet their future love.

Will their Business be a success or will they spend more money on their dream than they can get out of it?

This challenge requires the packs Businesses and Hobbies i'm sure other parts of this challenge could also be played without Businesses and Hobbies and be replaced with the bakery from Get To Work (if you decide to try that out pls consider leaving me a note below how well it worked or what you had to adjust :D )

Details to Gen 2

Baker’s business is all about having a little bakery where you can brighten up your neighbours days with a nice cup of hot-brew and some baked goods.

Once you moved your 2. Gen Sim on a new lot with 20k§, build the base of your shop/flat including the most basic bed, toilet, shower, oven and fridge, not to forget a coffee bar and a food display. After that change your Sims money to 0.

If you don't feel like building the base yourself or show me your take on the challenge feel free to use my base from the library :)))))

run a cat/dog café with at least 2 pets in the household

Hellooo Ladies and Gents and nonbinary Friends!!!

So I guess this is the start of my blog where i'll just post about all my obsessions so i won't lose them. :))))

Soo I'm currently in my half-yearly Sims 4 obsession and I've found a lot of joy in Businesses and Hobbies so I decided to give myself a challenge and start my own legacy. For now I'm sticking to the name #rags2business or #Sims4R2B, so feel free to post your take on the challenge/guidelines and show me how you did it :)))

I'm currently working on the next parts, which will also still be country/farm themed but I'm trying to make myself actually stick to one save/legacy for once so i'll surely do something not farm-related soon.

This challenge requires the packs Businesses and Hobbies, Cottage Living and/or Horse Ranch but doesnt exclude packs (like Seasons), they are just not required. Im sure other parts of this challenge could also be played without Businesses and Hobbies and use the retail shop as the Business, but i haven't tried that out yet and I'd love some feedback :)))

I havent seen a challenge focussing on the business aspect of Businesses and Hobbies, so I made this one, so part one will be a farming business, where you can make people take care of the plants for you and buy your produce from your own stall :))))

Feel free to mix up the order in which you play the challenge fitting to your needs :))))

(if you want a bigger challenge you can also turn on the off the grid lot challenge)

Details to the 1 Gen

Farmer's business is all about having a little shop on your farm, selling produce and letting people do the work for you, if the country life is getting too exhausting, you're busy competing in the farms faire with your animals and giant vegetables or selling your great quality nectars.

You can go over to your next generations challenge when you:

run a buisness where people can buy your crops and help you garden

finished all the goals from the challenge-sheet

have your sims child reach teen age, where you can swap over to them, bonding to the animals and get your skills up

The next part will be posted once ive finished the first part myself to see if it works how i like it or if i still need to change smt

so yes, this is the start of my obsession-memoire to look back to in a few years. :D))))
