Is anyone even there? 

I got a little depressed going through my following list and realizing 80% of the people I follow are no longer active. It is so wild to think that I literally spent from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to bed on this site. And here it is, years later... untouched and not updated. It is funny to think I would see people making goodbye posts. Or hiatus posts since they were now ~*~*adults*~*~ and could no longer keep up with it. I always told myself I would be a cool adult that would keep this up forever. Making amazing gifs, updating you on my life, keeping in touch with my tumblr friends that helped me through my darkest times. And most of you are all gone. I hope you are all well with whatever you are doing. I hope life is so amazing and that is why you no longer have time to come on here. 

Just for a little update on me, in case anyone wondered what this nerd has been up to. I think the last time I updated you, I was working a crappy retail job and living with my parents. I am happy to say I now have a “big girl” job. I work full time as a auto adjuster. So, if you ever get in an accident (god forbid), I might be the person handling your claim! I have my own apartment and a perfect little kitty named Clara (yes after Doctor Who, do you honestly think I am not still obsessed with all the things???) 

I am in love. Like super in love. I met a man named Oscar. I know I would come in from time to time and call him “the boy”. I would talk about how happy he made me and how I was falling for him. Well I fell, hard. And I mean it when I say I genuinely think he is the kindest, purest, and most wonderful soul in the entire cosmos and I have no idea how I got so lucky. Next month will be our two years anniversary and I can’t wait for our adventures together.  He is my best friend and my rock. Life is still a bit bumpy here and there. But I have him holding my hand through it all.

No one is probably reading this, but if you are and you are feeling lost. If you have no job and sit at home all day wondering when your life is going to begin. If you stay up crying because you hate yourself and don’t think anyone would ever love you. If you are in your twenties and feel like a failure. Please don’t give up. You are worth so much, you are going to do amazing things, you are going to find people to help you. I just wish someone told me that when I was on this site. Because I felt hopeless. I felt like finding love and purpose was impossible. I thought I would never leave my toxic household and here I am sitting in my own apartment with my kitty sleeping next to me. There is no expiration date to when your life will begin. I don’t know why I felt the need to come on here and say that. But there you go~

Also, I hate to say it... but working 40 hours a week and squeezing in a social life and sleep is actually super hard. And let’s be real, I don’t think I will be coming on here very often.
