A Deer on patrol. I'm slowly building the world these robots live in but it's still pretty vague. All I've decided on is that these buddy's are called Deers. This was a quick sketch I drew yesterday after being inspired by old He-man box art. Working out what I need to do for the next print. There's a few big fixes I need to make but for now it's mostly minor things like adding details to liven up some parts, enlargeing the neck and lengthening the thigh a little for a better kneeling pose. (having a figure be able to kneel is just something I always look for) I probably need to thicken the stems on all the ball joints too, tho the issues there may just be from the type of print I got. Same goes for the hands but it's nice to see someone can hold the rifle. I had written a whole spiel about how exited I am about getting my print and my mixed feeling about how it turned out. I also listed a bunch of reasons i should have just paid for the resin but when posting it something went wrong and it disappeared into the void. Anyways, I think you get the idea and can see the tack i used to keep some parts together after snapping. So it's all good. I was going to order a Resin but since this Is my first pass I didn't want to spend that much until I had a better idea of what I'm doing. Fingers crossed it comes out all right. About 10 years ago my Ma and Sister picked me up this little buddy from Hong Kong. I don't know much about it other a few little bits from the packaging and haven't been able to find much online. - - It's from a series called Snorty & Friends and designed by someone called Steven from Steven House Design Productions and appears to have been bought at a shop called Hoobby House in HK.
