i tweeted this earlier in the week, but i’m officially dropping yumi tomorrow. she’s been a muse that’s been dear to me for almost two years now, so it’s really bittersweet to be letting her go. however, with real life getting busier, i’ve barely had time to focus on rp in general, and it makes no sense to just keep her around just to stress ( and miss ) deadlines.
ic-wise, she’ll probably start her own company after leaving the company but will definitely still be around to support her friends at lgc! if ever you want to borrow her for any ic reference, don’t be afraid to hit me up! thank y’all for loving yumi! officially signing off!

affirming her suspicion with a nod, jinyoung can’t help but let the smile widen further across his features. he knew yumi was nice but to meet her up front like this makes him realize how genuinely sweet she seemed to be, multiplying his gratitude for the chance she gave him to star in her shoot. “that was actually the only gig I had, which I wanted to thank you for again for picking me up when I was still just a trainee,” he thanks her, bowing his head in gratitude. “I don’t think I’d be here today if not for ‘shine forever’,” he tags on honestly, flashing another eye smile.
“but I actually haven’t thought about it too much. I just really like trying out whatever is offered to me. I’m not sure I’m cut out to get any major or minor role but I enjoy dancing so I wouldn’t mind being part of an ensemble I think,” he muses, tilting his head in thought. “what about you? did you ever participate in a musical before?”
as the other bows his head at her, yumi quickly waves her head in front of her. “ah, no, not at all!” she exclaims. “i doubt i have that much influence,” she chuckles. “i’m sure you’d be more than capable of coming on this path even without that. honestly!” she’s rambling at this point, and she’s fairly certain she should stop rambling.
“ah okay!” she notes with a nod of her head. “it’s always good to give things a try.” that part she definitely agrees with, and she’s thankful that she’s had the opportunity to do that, that’s for sure. “i did! i was in the ensemble of the last musical they did, which was fun! but i do think it could be fun to be more than just the ensemble and all, so i’d like to try for something a little more!”
The idea that he was chosen as one of the MC’s for LGC Style still felt like some kind of mistake. They had said he had impressed them during his interview, but in what way Taiyou couldn’t understand; he wasn’t exactly a shining example of confidence, had everyone else really done that badly? Even just considering that made Taiyou feel bad. There was no way someone like Sanghyun or Jinseo could have done poorly… but how? When he had told his sister, she had suggested that maybe he should just accept his victory— what was wrong in acknowledging that he could do well in something?
Taiyou didn’t really know, but he tried to keep that in mind as they began filming. And perhaps it helped a little that despite being one of the MC’s the focus still remained primarily on the contestants, only one of two cameras remained on him and Yumi as they observed. “I’m really interested in seeing what we might get out of the Fabula team,” he attempted to comment, using the cue cards in one hand to tap the palm of his other hand. “A jungle environment seems like interesting inspiration— what do think?”
yumi was excited that she was chosen as one of the mc’s for lgc style. honestly, she had no clue what the criteria had been, but she wasn’t complaining, that was for sure. it had always been one of her goals to be an mc for something, so she was definitely happy that she’d get the opportunity to finally give it a try. she just hoped that she didn’t disappoint.
she could definitely feel herself more nervous once the cameras were rolling. thankfully, she was able to help bounce ideas from her partner’s questions. “it really is! i wonder if we’ll hear more about where they got the inspiration from. each concept is so unique and intriguing in their own ways. i do wonder which group will have the easiest time with their particular prompt,” she exclaimed. “especially since the tasks at hand isn’t their typical day job, right?”
「 find your voice feat. @lgcyumi musical workshops 」
being a junior model was an amazing experience in itself. it still felt somewhat surreal to be an actually listed talent now and have a commercial wrapped up and ready to air starring him. if that wasn’t amazing enough, the woman who had very likely caused their lovely ceo to make the final decision in debuting him as a model was sitting right beside him in a workshop now. unable to fight the wide, pleasant smile of his lips, jinyoung greeted her with a respectful bow, nothing but gratitude expressed with his whole body language.
“it’s nice to see you here sunbaenim. are you also planing to audition for the musical?” he could see yumi right there up front and center. “funny how my first task as a model is the option to not be a model,” he jests, quite liking the variety of things they could dab their toes into beyond commercials and posing for pictorals.
yumi couldn’t wait to start the musical workshops. she had been a part of a musical before, and she thought there was a good chance that perhaps she could get a larger role this time around. they had a little break in their workshop and she heard the male’s voice beside her. “hey!” she had remembered him from his participation in her product shooting.
“yes, i am!” she exclaimed with a bright smile. “i presume you are as well?” she looked to the other. “oh you’re right,” she chuckled. “but you’ve also done a lot of modeling gigs in the process, no? like you being in my shoot!” she pointed out. “in that sense, your statement isn’t entirely true.” however, she definitely understood what he meant. “have you always wanted to be a part of a musical?”
yumi is both excited and nervous about showing off her product through the social media platform. though many people have already been able to try it and have told her good things about it, it’s another thing to face a public audience when you’re the one behind it all.
the recording begins as she bows her head to the camera. “hello everyone! i’m legacy model seo yumi and also the creator of my new highlighter under my shine forever line! you might remember i created a hair product in the past under this name, but this time, i decided to try something different!”
she moves to grab the product and holds it up to the screen, placing one hand behind it so that the camera is able to focus on the highlighter itself. “here it is! i thought it would be fun to create a product also that seems to align with my brand name, so a highlighter would indeed help you to shine!” she exclaims.
“alright, so, it’s really easy to use. i wanted to create something that i could use on the go or just use without any additional tools. it’s also small and easy to throw into my purse in case i want to use it later in the day but didn’t want to incorporate it into my look during the morning or something!”
she pulls off the cap and shows the product in a close-up. “and then you can just put it anywhere you want. i’m just going to show it here on my cheekbones.” she swipes the product back and forth a few times. “so it’s a really comfortable formula and really brightens my skin in the area.” she taps the area that she had put on the highlighter. “and there we go!” she exclaims, turning her head back and forth to show the difference. “i’d love to hear what you all think!”

yumi still doesn’t understand why they’ve been all called for new ID photos when hers doesn’t seem that old to begin with. well, she supposes that a few years have passed but she would have presumed this would happen more frequently if this were a normal thing. either that or she’s just too paranoid and that’s why she’s overthinking such a silly small thing as getting a new ID card.
she can’t help but wonder if she had looked alright when they took her shot or if she might have blinked in the photo. it all seemed to have happened so quickly. she’s still thinking about all of this when suddenly, a fan turns on and there’s confetti blowing everywhere.
“what the --” she starts to say as her eyes look up from her phone to see a handful of confused faces as to what is going on. a staff person appears to tell them to move to the restrooms to fix themselves up. with a sigh, yumi gets up from her seat and follows the crowd to the restroom.
there are balloons everywhere, and now her mind is wondering why there’s a party in the restroom. soon enough, the balloons pop and a banner appears. “ah!” she exclaims, a similar reaction from those also there with her. she should have known her paranoia wasn’t unwarranted.
‘what an interesting prank,’ she thinks to herself. at least it wasn’t harmful or scary in any way. she isn’t much of a prankster ( and can’t really say that she is someone who appreciates a good prank ), but she’s just glad that this one is one that she survived. she wonders if they need help cleaning up, but it seems that the staff has already started moving to collect things once things had been completed.
once legacy dropped the music video for agito’s ‘do or not’, eunhye was doing her best to stream the song (along with reveal too because she had to do her best to support both versus and agito). but after watching the music video for the nth time, eunhye got up from her seat and placed her phone inside her pocket. with the intention of heading to the cafeteria to get some food, she had spotted a familiar figure that she hadn’t talked to in a while.
“yumi!” she called her, catching up as fast as she could to catch up with the other. “i saw you in agito’s music video! how does it feel to have three guys fall in love with you?” it sounded like a silly question, but eunhye always wondered how it felt to be working with other legacy artists in a music video like that. while she did experience it with another boy group, it was different when it was legacy artists who were also around the same age as her. “i feel like all of the agito fans wished they were in your shoes when that music video was dropped.”
yumi had been in the process of grabbing her lunch when she hears her name being called from somewhere. turning around, she sees eunhye quickly reaching to approach her and she gives a wave to the other to let her know that she sees her. picking up her tray, she heads towards the other but a loud laugh sounds as the other asks her question.
“you haven’t seen me in ages and that’s the first question you ask me?” she jokes as she nudges her head for the other to follow her. “did you want something to eat?” she asks before continuing on. “ah, i know, right?” she chuckles. “i mean, i can’t complain. i feel lucky,” she laughs, “even though it doesn’t mean a thing, obviously,” she exclaims. “though was the acting believable? sometimes i’m not too sure it is,” she notes with another nod of her head.
yumi has to admit that there are a lot of things that she still feels uncertain about her brand. had she chosen to go down the right path with the products that she’s creating? she doesn’t feel like she’s famous enough for people to think “ah, i want to try seo yumi’s makeup line”. after all, korean beauty products were indeed a rather saturated market.
however, she did want to create something that she herself wanted to use, and at the moment, there was little else that she could think about that would be something she’d opt for. well, actually, now that she was thinking about it a little more, there was something she had in mind, but perhaps that would be something she’d explore if they had the opportunity again in the future.
today was her time to focus on the cf filming though. she felt confident about the faces that she had chosen for her project. she had really enjoyed working with her first set of models as well, and so far, things seemed to be going smoothly with this group as well. the idea of the cf was honestly a little ... silly, for lack of a better way to put it, but she also thought it could be fun.
she greeted each person as they arrived on the set and helped to direct things accordingly. there was a small part of her that wondered if maybe she should have been cut out for behind the scenes work since she actually rather enjoyed this. then again, she could do that when she was older, so it was simply a silly thought for now.
she watched as those picked out acted out the scene that she had written out. a giggle sounded from her lips as she watched. okay, maybe it was cuter than she thought, she noted to herself. when all was done, she excitedly clapped her hands together for the group. she couldn’t wait to see the finished product.
when yumi shows his blank sheet of paper and claims he’s doing better than her, he smiles, albeit a little sheepishly. “i don’t know, it’s kinda dumb,” he replies. “but maybe it is better than nothing…?” he’s not sure. hopefully no one will call on him to share anything. he used to hate that when he was in school and he still hates it now. he would definitely rather say sorry, i didn’t write anything than read his jumble of nonsense out loud.
indy isn’t smart or creative enough for this, really. “my teachers used to make me do mind maps in school. did you guys do that? i wonder if it would work here.” he’d have to think of a central theme first in order to make a map of it, though. if he’s going to work with yumi on this (even though he isn’t sure he’s even allowed), what things do they have in common?
“should we write a song about australia?” he questions with a grin. he’s kidding. mostly. admittedly, it is the best idea he’s had so far (never mind that it’s the only idea he’s had so far.)
yumi shakes her head. “i doubt that. the effort matters more than the content, in my opinion. i mean, they can’t expect us to be amazing songwriters from the get-go, right?” at least there’s some sign of effort whereas, right now, she doesn’t seem to be making much progress at all.
“mind maps?” yumi doesn’t think she’s ever done one of those. or maybe they were just called something else? “i mean, it’s been a long time since i’ve been in school so i don’t recall such a thing,” she adds with a sheepish grin. how silly that she doesn’t even know of such a thing, she thinks to herself.
“hm ...” she nods her head slowly. “i mean, that’s not a bad idea. at least it’s unique,” she quickly notes. “when was the last time you were there?” she asks curiously.

oh right they were just here to take a photo..a simple photo but were they going to update their information or something? daeho was sure that no one here would know for sure, and he was confident in that because who really knows what the company is thinking.
it was a habit to not bite at his pen, after all these question was about him? more so his opinion? he started to filled out the last of the question, flipping the page front and back several time making sure that he indeed had it all filled out. “I think so.” he showed her the page with a slight chuckle. “I thought we were just here to take a photo, but i don’t understand why this questionnaire is part of it.” he hummed just eager to get back into the practer ( yeah , some things never change ).
“random question.” it could had been the jet lagged “do. you think there could be more to this than just an id photo?”
yumi looks over at the sheet that is being held out to her, but her brain isn’t really actually reading any of it or processing any of the information. she nods her head in agreement with the other. “not sure either, to be honest,” she notes plainly as she takes one more glance at her pages just to be sure that she didn’t miss a question.
“more than just an ID photo?” she repeats his question, thinking for a moment about the prospect. “honestly, no idea. i mean, i guess some of us could use an ID photo refresh, but i’m sure there are also many people who probably just got their IDs and all,” she adds. “what other motive would they have for getting us here?” she asks curiously, wondering what the other might be thinking.
he’s always overly friendly and he doesn’t think that adding a chan to people’s names isn’t that bad. that’s just that bartender extravert side coming into play. he genuinely tries his best at times. but he’s known yumi for a bit since she was his junior at the agency so he considered her on friendly terms. “Well, I’m sure that some sort of creative background helps,” he states with a grin. He has no creative background whatsoever as an engineering student and devout dnd player but he doesn’t intend to fall behind.
He nods in agreement as she talks about having the opportunity to do stuff like that and that while she enjoys modeling stuff, something different is always interesting, he keeps nodding. “I agree with that sentiment. Variety is the spice of life and everything comes in useful eventually. I also enjoy all the acting stuff and what I did in university but this is also quite fun and I’m sure will come in fairly useful in the future, even if it becomes a fun fact on variety shows,” he adds, crossing his arms with a grin at her.
yumi nods her head. there’s a part of her that believes a lot of this is simply talent based, and then there’s the other part of her that does have some hope that maybe it’s a skill that she can learn. regardless, she does want to try and do her best for the time being.
“exactly!” she chimes in when he explains that, even if they never put these skills into actual practice, they could be a fun fact used on a show or something. “but,” she begins, “if we all have this same fun fact, it’s not so fun anymore, is it?” she jokes. then again, she supposes that most people wouldn’t actually think too much about using this as a fun fact, so perhaps it might work after all. “what are some other things outside of acting that you’ve learned that you’ve enjoyed?” she asks curiously as she looks down at her blank sheet of paper.
“do i have to choose just one?” yumi looks to the coach but she’s not really given a clear answer. "i was going to say my parents but it’s that thing where i can’t just pick one,” she quickly adds. “so i’m going to cheat and say my brother. he really helped me get through some of the hardest parts of my life. even though he’s younger than me, he’s really mature in making sure that he looks after me in some ways. i mean, we definitely have each other’s backs, you know?” she smiles. “i’m definitely very thankful for him.”
if you were in desperate need, who would you turn to?
“in desperate need?” yumi repeats. who had she turned to first when everything went down with her last group? it was always her parents. as hard as it had been to admit the truth to them, they were most definitely the people who would never judge her or blame her for what had happened. “my parents. either of them. because i trust their judgment and i know that they love me, there’s no doubt in my mind that they would be the ones that i go to first if i needed something desperately. they would probably also be the only ones who actually would be willing to say yes to anything i might need to,” she notes.
have you ever lost anyone important to you?
yumi swallows thickly as the question is asked of her. her answer would likely be unexpected. she has no doubt that people will mostly answer with a family member that they were close to. the easiest answer she could think of would be a grandparent or such, but she’s thankful that all of hers were still around and anyone beyond that generation she simply never knew. however, her answer would be the rest of the starlight girls.
after the disbandment, their relationship was simply never the same again. it was just as the question was stated. it felt like their friendship had fallen by the wayside, seeing one another was more of a reminder of the traumas they faced and things just weren’t the same between them anymore. it wasn’t that she was opposed to meeting them again, but life just made it hard for them to. “my dear friends who i treasured immensely in my life before. life just makes it difficult to see them again so in some ways, i do feel that i’ve lost them. maybe one day, we’ll find each other again.” does that sound silly? she thinks to herself but waves it off.
have you ever felt truly loved by someone else?
yumi smiles at the question though she doesn’t think she should say too much to her coach. at least not about her actual romantic life. of course, she could use her family as an answer again but that seems like cheating, so she keeps coy, keeping her answer brief but answering it as it’s asked. “i have. it’s a wonderful feeling to feel truly loved by someone else. definitely something that i treasure and don’t take for granted.” she's not sure if she has to elaborate any further, but she keeps mum, deciding to end things there in fear that she may let something slip that she shouldn't.
how do you show someone you care about them?
“i make food for them!” yumi exclaims with a laugh. “is that weird?” she asks aloud. “i really love cooking, and i feel like those that i care about really love food, too. since i don’t always have a lot of time at home, i do think that spending time on that also shows that i’m willing to spend time for them. it’s almost like a combination of gifts and acts of service in one in showing my love languages!” not that she really knows what her love languages are, but it seems like they might be something along those lines.
it felt incredible to be back in seoul. daeho had been aboard for only a month, but he for sure misses the atmosphere of home. there was a lot of things that he had miss out on and sleep was probably one of them. regardless he was able to pull himself together ( and with the power of a little make up ) one couldn’t tell that he was tired from his flight.
questionnaire were passed out and daeho handed the girl next to him a sheet. they’ve never met before but he recognize her “I wonder what’s these questionnaire will be used for?” he said out loud, while focusing on the sheet in front of him. leaning against the wall he was taking a little longer than expect to fill out these paper ( maybe it was jet lag from flying to and from antarctica ).
“how are you doing with your questionnaire?” he whisper as if it they were taking a difficult test.
yumi wonders what all this is about. it seems sort of odd that they’ve been asked to do this, but then again, maybe it is time for a roster photo refresh. when was the last time she had taken one?
a questionnaire is handed out as well and yumi quickly begins to fill it out. the questions are easy at least. they’re certainly not questions that required a lot of deep thinking or anything of the sort, and as she holds back a yawn, she’s certainly thankful for this. she hears the voice of the male beside her and chuckles as she holds up her sheet. “i think i’m ... done?” she scans the page to make sure there wasn’t anything that she had missed.
“how is yours going?” she asks, pretending to peep over at his page.
yumi is surprised to hear that there will be an audition for them to host LGC STYLE. somehow, she doesn’t put two and two together that that’s why they’re taking part in hosting workshops to begin with. it all makes sense now, she thinks to herself. nonetheless, it leaves her worried that they’re having such an audition. what exactly does it mean? hosting isn’t new to her, but will she be good enough? what if she, as someone who is more senior in the modeling group, fails to do well in this?
she pays careful attention during the hosting workshops ( well, somewhat, as some of the things are, thankfully, things that she had already known ) to ensure that she’s prepared for such an audition, and when the date of her audition rolls around, she’s as prepared as can be. after all, are you ever really one hundred percent prepared?
as she stands in front of the panel, she’s asked to describe what she’s currently wearing. truth be told, she had picked out the outfit thinking that it seemed more professional, but now that she’s looking down at it, she’s not entirely sure. her knee high black boots complete the little black dress ensemble.
“i chose this black dress thinking that it felt chic and fit the occasion.” there’s a part of her that backtracks that thought, but she decides to go with it. it would be bad, after all, to say that she’s changed her mind about how it looks right now when she’s in the middle of the audition. “i thought it might be different from something that others might choose to wear and help me stand out from the rest.”
there’s now a mannequin placed in front of her wearing a white t-shirt and she’s told that there are different articles of clothing and accessories placed to put together for the mannequin. she ends up picking out a simple long-sleeve, almost floor-length floral dress for the model along with a simple gold pendant necklace. strappy sandals and sunglasses completed the ensemble. “with it being spring, i felt like this type of outfit could be a nice transition from the harsh winter and into a cool but not yet too hot spring time. something comfortable that someone could wear for day to day things.” she’s not sure how they feel about her choice, but at least it’s completed.

“me?” sanghyun pointed to himself with his index finger before quickly looking back at the coach. seeing that there was another note written on the board, sanghyun jotted it down, not really comprehending what the terms meant (it was probably something he could look back later on). “i have some snacks here.” he suggested softly, thinking about the crackers he had inside his jacket pocket that he kept in case he got hungry during these lectures. but right when he was about to ask yumi if she wanted one of his snacks, the coach was already starting to tell them that the hosting workshop was going to come to an end.
sanghyun resisted the urge to sigh, but it was evident on his face that he was so glad to be free from the series of hosting workshops that legacy had given to them. “i hope they don’t give us another one of these hosting workshops again in the near future because i’m always reminded by the fact that you’re the best host amongst all of the models.” sanghyun admitted so that only yumi could hear what he was saying. gathering his belongings, he stood up and stretched his arms. “let’s go get something to eat.” he told her as he lead the way out of the room.
with only a few more workshops left, sanghyun felt as if he was desperately hoping that all of his efforts would pay off somehow. while he wasn’t still confident in his hosting skills, it was progress (small progress that is). after writing down the last word the coach tells them, sanghyun turned his head slightly to yumi who he assumed would know all of this better than him (after all she did host two seasons of a vlive show. that was credible enough in his eyes, but maybe he was biased).
nodding his head instantly, he watched to see what the coach was doing before asking her softly, “what do you feel like eating?” he hoped that the coach was too busy focusing on the task at hand that the two of them could get away with some small talk to make the time go faster (because sadly, he didn’t have the powers to control time despite being a watch owner). “i’m thinking about something a bit on the colder end?” he suggested as he glanced at the window and saw how the weather was outside.
yumi’s surprised by his suggestion for something on the colder end. the weather is warming up, but it doesn’t seem quite like it’s time for something cold. then again, she’s never been a picky eater, and certainly, anything will be a welcome after their hours of workshops that they’ve been attending. the coach is speaking on something that she already knows, and well, if sanghyun doesn’t, she’s sure she can fill him in later.
“you pick the place. i’m fine with whatever. i’m just really hungry,” she notes with a barely there chuckle. after all, the last thing she needs is to catch the attention of the coach when they’re just moments away from freedom. she quickly faces back towards the front as she pretends to pay attention to the rest of the session.
