Hi im lowk chopped and i dont rlly have a good question to ask, mostlt wanted to say that the video was SO good. I loved the narration style for the prog 4 event video so having it framed as talking to kunzy again was nice. Then you have all the visuals and the music choices, the script and pauses made the emotional beats hit just right, and, even tho i dont watch much bliss anymore, rewatching the stuff (and new stuff) from months ago was just beautiful. The whole thing in general was just so well put together. idk if you've answered this before, but where did the idea of having all the narration be a sorta 'campfire story' come from? I rlly like it since its a nice spin on usual smp video narration, makes it a bit more tolerable for me.

hey glad you enjoyed the video! the campfire story inspiration came straight from alrey in his video "The Great Exploit War" it is my favorite smp video of all time and if you think my story is good, just watch alrey's and you'll be blown away.

one of my favorite things was how much you used other people's perspectives to tell the story!! I wish people did that more it's so much more immersive and interesting esp the way you put a lot of the shots together. first example I'm thinking of is when mugm gives wyll the neth. the way it switches between the chaos of nezo and q arguing over what was going on to wyll and mugm having a very calm and agreeable discussion was so satisfying it's all *chefs kiss*

maybe a weird meta question but during the video making process were you ever surprised by what you found while looking at other people's footage? like did you see things and think "ohhhhhh now that makes sense why this person did that" and were there times where you'd actually made an incorrect assumption about someone's motivations or what actually went down on the other side of the world

not really i came into the video knowing pretty much everything because im a serial stream sniper and i had already asked people a bunch of questions regardless. i would show like wyll the part where it switches povs and he'd give me more context behind it and im like ok sweet

lowkey all quakitus i aint know shit for music. besides quakitus, there were some songs i nabbed from the goat alrey and from my own personal bin

hi lezy!!! while watching the video, one of the things that consistently amazed me was the camera framing and cinematography ^-^ kind of a vague question but i guess ill shoot: when you choose how to frame or what to edit about replay shots, what generally goes through your head? any decisions you felt strongly about or things you always keep in mind?

i don't really have a rhyme or reason as to why i do certain shots except for just mainly trying to look cool and not repetitive. i sometimes follow the rule of thirds but i don't press about that too much. probably some of the coolest shots are thanks to quakitus he deadass carried this video towards the later half (full glaze btw that invis shot where it was just the particles was all him i gen wish i thought of that)

What were your team’s goals during pilots? Did you have any goals separate from them?

the team goal was honestly just dragon's goal since at the time i was the new guy on the block and dragon was the only poor soul without someone with him so i just helped him. i didn't really know about separate goals until i joined SOS (this question is also kind of funny to me since im editing the pilots breakup right now)

i remember seeing you talk about killing fujimoto in twitter replies... was csm ending that bad?

i will make sure that fujimoto never has another happy day ever again. that man left SO MANY PLOT POINTS with that ending and saying "nah all that ish was a dream" NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE AT THE END HE WAS HOPING WE WERE THERE FOR THE RIDE

i want you to imagine if this bliss seasons ending involved the gold gem and let's say torchblossom still existed. now imagine ALL OF THAT got reset to like the first 3 days of the server RIGHT BEFORE the entire prog 1 obsidian arc but with minor differences like characters being replaced with newer ones and stuff. THAT IS THE CHAINSAW MAN ENDING

the point is that we never got in-depth into the gold gem and we never got to see if torchblossom had a happy or sad ending. basically A WASTE OF MY FUCKING TIME
