LEZA ONE

15 characters freestyle 

I painted this mural on 7th Avenue for my friend Hashish at Namira Corner Store. 

I wasn’t sure where I was heading to when I started to sketch on the wall. I had in mind to paint some characters, but without any precise sketch for it or anything like that. It took a few days to adjust my sketch to  capture the vibe I felt there. I am pretty happy with it, specially how I was able to deal with colors I am not used to mixing together. I focused on diversity in the character roster. The result is a mix between what came out from my mind and what I observed around me while I was on the spot. Like many corner stores, this place it’s more than a store for the community living near by, it’s a meeting point. I want to thank the people that came by and showed support while I was painting, such a nice and warm welcome.
