A deep sigh sounded from you as you unlocked the door, gently rubbing the palm of your hand over your eyes as you walked into your shared apartment. A soft ‘meow’ greeted you as you entered, and you shut the door behind you before you bent down to pet your cat.

“Hey, sweetpea.” You mumbled sleepily, running a hand over her ears before you tossed your bag on to a hook. Your back popped as you stood up, making you groan out at the sudden feeling as you rubbed your aching muscles. Your feet dragged heavily against the ground as you maneuvered your way through the darkened apartment, making you believe that your boyfriend had already fallen asleep when you heard nothing but silence.

As quietly as possible you sneaked into the bedroom, shrugging off your old jacket before you placed it on to a chair before reaching down to peel off your sweaty work uniform. The shirt came first, both the long-sleeved undershirt and the crappy logo printed short-sleeved shirt falling to the ground as you sighed. As you went to reach for your belt, cold arms suddenly wrapped around your bare waist, making you jump at the sudden skin-to-skin contact.

“Y/n..” A voice mumbled into your neck, a small kiss being placed to your skin soon after. “You should’ve been home an hour ago.”

You sighed, leaning into his warmth a bit more as you closed your eyes for a moment. “You should be sleeping.” You ignored his comment, placing a hand over one of his on your waist before you stepped away from him. “Did I wake you up?” Your eyes noticed the heavy bags under his clouded eyes, your eyebrows knitting together in concern as you gently set your palm against his stubbly jaw. Eddie gave a small smile, his head shaking before he hooked his fingers into the loops of your pants to bring your body flush against his.

“You should be sleeping too, y/n.” He retorted. Your usually bright eyes and warm smile had been replaced with a deep frown and an unfocused stare. Your hair was loose in its ponytail, and your shoulders hung low as you looked to him. “Come on, sweetheart. Let’s get you to bed, hm?”

“I’ll do that for you.” Eddie grabbed your hand gently, pulling you over to the bed and sitting you down before he grabbed a nearby shirt, which happened to be his, and placed it over your body. His hands, however, remained on your waist, his warm fingers gently massaging your skin for a moment. "Just relax for a bit, y/n.” He smiled softly at you after placing a soft kiss to your lips, his fingers squeezing the skin of your waist before he let go of your body.

He slowly helped you shimmy out of your work pants after removing your belt, placing them both to the side before pulling pair of loose shorts on to your exhausted body. The occasional laughter came from him as he tried to keep you awake, which was quite the task seeing as your eyes were being tempted shut as sleep took over you, by giving you small kisses as he helped you with your night routine. You fell back on to the bed once you were fully changed, your eyes automatically shutting again as you felt yourself sink into the fluffy comforter, but a hand lightly hit your thigh to keep you awake.

“Don’t fall asleep just yet, y/n.” Came Eddie’s gruff voice, and he pressed one last kiss to your lips before he stood up and walked into the bathroom. You groaned loudly at his comment, snuggling deeper into the pillows as you kept your eyes shut. “Don’t give me that attitude young lady.” He shot back, his head popping out of the bathroom to catch your figure curling up into a tight ball on the mattress. “You’d give me hell if I let you go to bed now.”

He turned his back to you before he rummaged around in the bathroom cabinet for a bit longer. After a while he finally appeared again, a packet of wipes in one hand while a bottle of cream was in the other. "Let’s take your make-up off first.” Eddie’s lips pulled into a smile as he spotted you, sitting next to you on the bed and pulling your tired figure up and on to his lap. “Then you can sleep.”

You mumbled some incoherent words as you fell back against his chest, your head resting against his shoulder as you drunkenly smiled up at him. “You’re such a caring boyfriend.” Your voice was laced with exhaustion. You really tried your hardest to stay awake as Eddie wipes your face clean of any leftover makeup, his fingers smoothing your hair out of your face. Notes: This is the first time I’ve written for Eddie/Venom so I am excited, but also nervous because I’m not sure if I will do the characters justice. Also, I had a hard time trying to decide if I wanted this to be fluff/humor or spooky/angst, but I finally decided on this - Also, I am loosing my motivation to write again, so I feel like these are slowly getting worse. So, sorry about that. 

“I can’t believe you dragged me into this” you sighed as the three two of you crouched behind the old broken down shed.

“You didn’t have to come” Eddie murmured as he stared into the darkness of the field, near by.

“Oh please, there is no way you wouldn’t have let me stayed at home watching Halloween movies like I wanted to, we just HAD to come to this creepy ass old broken down farm to track down your crazy ass sounding story” you felt a slight shiver go through your body. “Well” Eddie began “Apparently the family that used to live here around fifty years ago were slaughtered by the father. He was stronger than any human, his eyes were red, and his skin appeared as though it was rotting. They fired a shit ton of buckshot into him but apparently he just ran off into the corn field” the two of you were standing at the doors again facing the old overgrown field, Eddie shown his flashlight into the field “They sent out a search party for him but no one ever found him. Eventually they gave up, assumed he had died. But about fifteen years ago a bunch of teens that came out here ended up going missing. And now, about three weeks ago, two more teens disappeared”

“And what, you think it’s the possessed old farmer?” you asked skeptically.

“We’ve seen weirder” Eddie looked down at you, knowing he was referring to the alien parasite that was possessing him.

“Fire enough” you admitted looking towards the field “Let me guess…we’re going into the field?”

“Yep”

You heard a quiet rustle behind you making you snap your head back to look. The moon wasn’t bright enough that you could see everything, but you could see some of the near by brush swaying. Looking to the trees you saw the branches moving in the wind. Trying to convince yourself that’s what it was, you looked back to Eddie as he put the batteries back in and tried the switch sighing when it refused to turn on. 

“Here” you tried to hand him your flashlight

“No, you lead the way” you saw Eddie glancing behind you, looking in the same direction you shown the light back out of the field, seeing nothing. 

Looking back at Eddie he motioned for you to go on, passing him, you continue through the brush, making sure that you could hear Eddie right behind you. A few moments passed before you felt a hand brush your arm, assuming it was Eddie letting you know he was still there, or maybe trying to push away some tall grass. You stopped when you found an old post in the ground, shining the light at it, Eddie came up next to you “I think it was for a scarecrow”

You hummed in agreement before shining the light around, out of the corner of your eye you thought you saw something, quickly shining the light at it “What?” Eddie questioned, seeing nothing.

“I don’t know, just thought I saw something”

Eddie listened closely, *I can sense something…unusual, nearby* “What do you mean?” you looked at Eddie, seeing him staring off into the field, it became easy for you to tell when he was talking to you or to Venom. You waited *I do not know, I can feel another presence, but I cannot tell where*

“He feels something, another presence, but he can’t tell where”

“What?” just as you questioned him your flashlight flickered, before going out “Eddie-” suddenly you heard a yell come from your left before Eddie was thrown into the brush “Eddie!” suddenly, something large smashed into you, throwing you onto the ground before you felt yourself being dragged from your shoulder out of the field. As you tried to look around you saw a large grey, almost skeletal hand wrapped around your arm.

“Y/n!” you heard Eddies voice call, your name become much deeper in tone halfway through, you could tell Venom was taking over.

Your head spun as you looked up, seeing the large decaying figure in front of you, his face was sunken, and you could see part of his skull, the rest of his covered face was wrinkled and dry. His eyes were empty pits. He yelled, his voice guttural and inhuman as he launched himself towards you.

You moved to cover yourself with your arms but stopped when Venom suddenly appeared grabbing what used to be the farmer. Black good dripped from Venoms mouth as he yelled, before easily tearing the monster in half. You covered your face prepared to be disgusted by the sight of blood, but looking down you see the figure almost disintegrate, as though he was full of sand “What the-” you couldn’t finish as pain pulsed through your body.

“Are you alright?” Venom leaned in checking you. You looked at him before nodding numbly.

The black parasite began to shrink as it melded back into Eddies body, as soon as Eddie had control again he threw himself down next to you quickly checking you “Hey, Y/n, look at me”

Making eye contact he could tell you were in pain “Okay, come on” he scooped you up into his arms, as he carried you back to your car.

Setting you in the passengers seat he looked at you again, checking the back of your head, he felt a large welt but no blood.

I don’t know how many people may have already done fics on a similar idea to this, but it just popped into my head after the movie and I wanted to give it a shot. Also Tom Hardy is one of my biggest celeb crushes, so I wanted to write about him.)

“Acid! Quit it! There are cameras everywhere, I really don’t need to spend another night in jail because of your need to make our lives more fun by shoplifting.“ You whisper yelled to the other entity that was residing inside you. Apparently, when the lab with the symbiotes got breached into, by kids who wanted their own powers after seeing the huge fight between two symbiotes, one managed to escape the compound by morphing with a dog. One of the teenagers brought it with him to serve as protection if they needed it. And the symbiote travelled to find a better host, only to set it’s sights on you as you exited the gym one morning, about half a year ago. Obviously, at first you were incredibly terrified by the fact there was another entity living inside you, and that you compatibility was so strong that you would start dying one without the other if separated. And so you learned to live with it, or better yet, her. If those other guys can do it, the ones who were seen fighting next to a train, so could you. You learned that the symbiotes name is Acid and that she was one of the female warriors on her planet before she was brought here, and so she was fond of the fact that you work out a lot and it was a nice little bonus to your compatibility.

She didn’t open up to you too much however, not really interested in what you think about her life on her home planet, until she saw another symbiote she recognized, after you managed to talk her into leaving the store without shoplifting. To say she was causing you trouble in your life at the beginning would be an understatement. Even though you were a very busy woman, working as a manager of a small company that created ads for brands, working out, and socializing with your friends a lot, she still felt like your life needed some changes and needed some excitement. You even spent a few nights in jail at a time, due to Acid trying to figure out what was it that you needed in your life in order to make it way more fun. And then she saw it, them. “Venom?“ You frowned when you heard her voice, but soon noticed a tall, black creature wondering the streets. He was handling some really bad people in your neighbourhood, some of the most notorious criminals, who prayed on your innocent neighbours along with their illegal business.

“What are you talking about Acid? Who is Venom?“ You asked her as you eyed the creature roughing up a few guys in front of you. You knew you could count on Acid to help you in case you get attacked, but once she spoke, you realized you had no reason to be afraid. Acid sighed and quickly recounted you the story of her and Venom. It seems that the two of them were lovers on their planet and they got separated upon being brought here, and she thought she would never see him again, but now she has him in front of her all over again, and she was unable to believe it. You smiled at her confession, hearing actual emotion in her voice as she talked about Venom, and you ask her if she was just gonna stand with you and watch him, or is she gonna go talk to him, symbiote to symbiote. Slowly you start feeling her form overcome you, and you turn into a lilac form, similar to the one of the black symbiote in front of you, but nobody would be able to miss her feminine curves.

As the two of you approached the scene, one of the men Venom had already tossed to the ground saw you and screamed, causing Venom to turn himself and his white eyes grew wider when he recognized who he was seeing. “Acid? Is that you?“ Without taking his eyes off her, Venom tossed the man he was holding, and he hit the wall of the restaurant building with a thud. He then closed the gap between himself and Acid slowly, as if he was still trying to figure out if it was really her. But when he made sure his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him, because she didn’t disappear when he took her hand in his, they fell into each other’s arms, and you couldn’t help but smile under her form, as you had never seen her show any emotion other than anger and annoyance before. But your smile soon faded and was replaced with a panicked expression when you realized they were about to kiss.

You knew it didn’t mean that you were kissing the host of the Venom symbiote, but it didn’t make a very big difference really, as the two of you were one being, with two different minds, voices and skins. But you let them kiss, hoping to just be done with it and go back to your old life. However, neither Venom nor Acid had that in mind. Now that they have found each other, they didn’t want to let each other go that easyly, so you were stuck along for the ride. After spending some time ’alone’ Acid and Venom decided they wanted to introduce each other to their hosts and you two also. So your own human form was dominant again, Acid only now having her head appear, developing from your back. Venom did the same, and you could finally see his host. You immediately recognized Eddie Brock, you loved his show and even had an alarm set to make sure you don’t miss it every single time it aired, so it was quite the shock to be sitting in front of him, on the roof of your house, with symbiotes protruding from your backs. And not to mention you practically kissed him while the symbiotes were dominating your form. The moment he spoke to introduce himself, you were smitten by his voice, and you realized you wouldn’t mind spending more time with him, for the sake of Venom and Acid.

“Looks like you’re stuck hanging out with me a whole lot from now on. At least I get to spend my time with a beautiful girl.“ You blushed at his words, and spoke sooner than you might have wanted, telling him you didn’t mind spending time with him. He smiled at your response, while your blush only deepened. At first, Venom talked about getting Anne back, and you found out she was his ex, who was actually about to get married to a doctor she started dating a very short period of time after breaking up with Eddie. And every time you would hear her name, it was as if  you got stabbed through the heart. Over time you started developping feelings for Eddie and all this Anne talk was close to driving you insane. Eddie noticed you roll your eyes one time as Venom and Acid were talking about Anne being alone at her lunch break and that it would be a perfect moment to just have Eddie walk over, ’accidentally’, and spend some time with her. He asked you if you were okay, and you could only nod your head, but he could tell you were lying. Over time, Acid noticed your change, and asked you if you liked Eddie, to which you answered by admitting it to her, thinking she wouldn’t tell Venom, only to turn after finishing and realize Eddie was standing beind you.

Without another word, he rushed over to you and cupped your face, connecting his lips to yours. That’s when you relized he felt the same about you, and you kissed him back, your lips moving in sync. After parting to catch your breath, Eddie told you Anne didn’t want to listen to him explain what happened, she just left him, and moved on rather fast, but you had shown him so many times over the months you spent constantly around each other that you were not just there because Acid wanted to be with Venom, but also because you wanted to be with him. So many little things you thought didn’t really matter, they did to Eddie and it made him realize you were the one for him. Venom was a little sceptical, since he was all on board the ’getting Anne back’ train, but Acid managed to convince him that you and Eddie were the better pair, and that way they would always be together too. So it was settled, you got you man, Eddie got his woman, and your symbiotes got each other, and it worked. All four of you were much happier with this arrangement, your feelings growing stronger by the day. You were a family, somewhat weird, or better yet, totally weird, but a family nontheless, and you were happy.

-Him just being more bold and reaching for your hand to feel him up in public, wanting to prove it to you, only for Venom to be brave to tease you back and get you in the mood as well, making him smirk as he can’t wait for you anymore

STORY: 

So, you’re pregnant, you just found that out. It was obvious, but you tried to convince yourself it was just the flu until Eddie made you go to the doctor. He was tired of Venom asking if you were dying, so you decided to go and get it over with.

Eddie didn’t go into the room with you, said doctors stressed him out, mainly because of shots and x-rays and stuff, so he stayed in the waiting room. You came out, looking relieved, “Well, I’m ready to go when you guys are.”

“Hungry.”

“I know,” Eddie sighed, getting up, “What sounds goo-”

“Burglar-”

“I meant normal food.”

“Fine.”

Eddie absentmindedly took your hand and you jumped a little. Eddie stopped for a moment and looked at you, “Everything okay?”

“Uhm,” you rubbed your neck, “Yeah, everything is fine. Better than fine, actually. Everything is great.”

“Okay?”

You pushed open the door and smiled at him, “I’ll tell you later, okay?”

“Could just tell us now. It’s gonna be a long walk.”

You thought about it. You could just tell them, but you have always been the type of person to make it a huge, special deal whenever something important happened. You thought just blurting this type of news out would just kill the news. Then you remembered the photo the doctor gave you.

Eddie and Venom would bickering about what to eat. Eddie wanted something that wasn’t tater tots, and that’s all Venom wanted. You took the picture of the ultrasound out of your purse and stared at it for a moment. 

“Uh…Here.” You held it out to Eddie.

He raised an eyebrow and took it, confusion plastered on his face. He turned it every which way, “What is it?”

“Look, Eddie.” Venom said, and a tendril pointed to an odd shape, “It is a peanut.”

“It kinda does look like a peanut, huh.” Eddie held the photo upside down, “But I still don’t get it.” 

You sarcastically rolled your eyes and fixed the picture so it was upright in his hands. You pointed to the peanut shape and said, “That’s a baby.” 

“Oh.” Eddie hummed, the dots slowly connecting. 

He stopped abruptly, staring at the picture, “OH.”

You moved out of a passing couples way and stood in front of Eddie, face heating up out of anxiety. You fiddled with you hands, “To be more.. Exact, that’s our baby.”

Eddie was frozen solid for the longest time. He never, ever thought he would have children. Hell he didn’t even think he’d be able to date again after the whole Anne and being possessed by an alien thing, but here we are.

He thought about having kids, but he was never sure, mainly because he didn’t think he would be a good dad. He’d never be like his own dad, but, he just didn’t think he’d make the cut, y’know?

“Eddie, say something.”  

“We’re gonna have a baby?” Eddie finally looked up at you.

Before you could answer, you were wrapped in his arms and he couldn’t stop smiling. You hugged him back, “So, I take it, you’re happy about it?”

“More than happy.”

Eddie pulled away and it finally dawned on him. There was going to be four of you. He knew a lot of things were going to have to change. Better diets, better sleeping schedule, etc. He had a lot of things to buy. 

“Eddie, how long does it take for a human to produce a baby.”

“Nine months.”

“What.”

“Nin-”

“You guys don’t just… Split in two and get it over with?”

“God no.”

“Eddie,” you cut in, “As thrilling as that conversation is.. I’m starving.” 

Eddie took your hand, “Right. Us too.”

It was quiet for a while as you two walked down the sidewalk. Eddie stopped in front of a shop that sold baby stuff, and he looked through the window. He couldn’t help but stare at all the small outfits, and he saw happy couples shopping with their small babies, picking out little shoes or a stroller.

He thought of you guys doing that, and he felt a tear roll down his cheek.

“Aw, Eddie,” you cooed, gently wiping his face.

He chuckled as he wiped the other tears that started to spill out, “Sorry. Sorry, big tough guys aren’t supposed to cry, I just-”

“You don’t have to apologize. It’s okay. I’d be more offended if you didn’t cry.”

Eddie sniffed, smiling crookedly, “It’s just.. We’re having a baby. Not gonna lie, I always wanted to have one, especially with you, but now it’s happening.”

You smiled sweetly at him, rubbing his cheek, “Exciting isn’t it?”

“I’m fucking terrified, actually.” he joked, “Like, I have a lot to learn, and buy, and do before the thing even gets here.” 

“We’ll do it together.” you took his hands, “Okay?”

Eddie nodded, “Okay.”

“And we also have to teach Venom to be on his best behavior,” you teased.

“I’m already on my best behavior.” 

“Of course.” you smiled, “But don’t eat the baby-”

“I would never. I will, however, eat anyone who tries to hurt the baby.”

You pulled Eddie along to finish your quest to get some food, and it seems Venom was already turned on super protector mode. Nothing and no one was allowed to be near you unless he thought they were okay. Eddie kept telling him that he didn’t need to do that, but Venom was saying he just wanted to make sure that nothing would hurt your or the little one.

Eddie sighed to himself. It was going to be a long nine months. On the brightside, at least he’d have you to keep him sane, right? 

“Can we have tater tots, Eddie?”

“What about tater tot casserole?” you chirped, “I’m kinda craving something of the sort.”

“I don’t see why not.” Eddie replied, “As long as you eat, I’m fine.”

“Yessssssssss.”

You three reached the store and Eddie held the door for you. He watched you walk around, looking for all the stuff you would need to make dinner, and he followed closely behind. Time to time, he caught himself off guard by picturing a small child following you, and each time, Venom teased him. 

“I am happy.”

“Yeah?”

“We are having a spawn of our own.”

“Don’t call it a spawn.”

“Baby is a weak word. Must make it sound strong, Eddie.”

“The thing can’t even lift it’s head, dude.”

“Weak.”

“That’s why it’s called a baby.”

“Humans are lame.”

“You’re the one who wanted to stay.”

“I stayed for the food. Not you.”

You pushed the cart over, and Venom took note that it was half filled with candy and tots. You were explaining how all of a sudden, you just really, really wanted the candy and that the crunchy tots were more so for a snack, not so much a meal.

“I love her so much, Eddie.”
