Welcome back to those returning, and hei to those who are new to the fandom and/or new to Clexaweek! Clexaweek is the week around the anniversary of Lexa’s bullshit death when we bring her back to life and keep her spirit going through various content, new fics, new art, moodboards, manips, fanvids, song playlists, short films, you name it. Each day for Clexaweek2019 will have its own theme. You don’t have to do all of them, you can pick one or two or any amount. You can even do multiple entries for a theme, or you can combine themes if you want! If you can do all 7 days, awesome! If you only do one day, awesome! It’s whatever you feel like doing, this is for fun! Be creative, but make sure you meet the prompt and it shows. I will add a link to the guideline rules at the bottom of this post.
Day 1- Monday, February 25th: Useless Lesbian
This theme gives so many possibilities, but one thing is for certain: Lexa is an utterly useless lesbian. Do they have an awkward meet ugly because Lexa is too busy choking on her own tongue and blushing as bright as a thousand suns around Clarke? Is Lexa walking around at the pool, catches sight of the pretty lifeguard, and trips face-first into the water and end up needing mouth to mouth? Does Lexa continuously fail to gather up the courage to ask Clarke for her phone number so much that by this point they’ve been basically dating for months but Lexa doesn’t know because she never technically asked? Have fun with it! (You can take some liberties and make Clarke the useless bisexual if you want, but either way, someone is too gay to function!)
Day 2- Tuesday, February 26th: No Strings Attached
We’re all so weak for Clexa, so it’s no wonder No Strings Attached aus are so appealing. Are they best friends who decide to make a deal because it’s convenient…until feelings get involved? Are they enemies who find that there is one way in which they’re good for each other: relieving some tension and stress, that is. Are they neighbors who decide if they’re hearing each other through the walls, they might as well give the other something to hear. Are they trying their best to convince themselves that this is just normal hook-ups, and they certainly aren’t falling in love, nope, not at all…..(spoiler: they so are).
Day 3- Wednesday, February 27th: Only One Bed
This forced proximity trope is a classic for a reason. Is there anything quite as fun as to watch characters be forced to share a bed, squirming because we know they’re clearly going to get together but….what’s going to happen? Are they going to kiss? Imagine them accidentally locked in a building and forced to share a makeshift sleeping bed. Imagine them on a trip together and oops, the only room available only has one bed looks like they’ll have to share! Do you want it cute and awkward or full of sexual tension and eventual smut, or all four at once? You decide!
Day 4- Thursday, February 28th: Nipples
I’m still laughing that this theme was one of the winning ones. To spite tumblr, create some content that involves Female-Identifying Nipples. That Good Earth Cleavage has just been waiting for this moment. Fanart? Manips? A 50k fic where Lexa waxes sonnets about Clarke’s breasts? A one shot where Clarke is very frustrated she keeps messing up on one specific part in her sketch of the pretty nude model for art class? Go wild!
Day 5- Friday, March 1st: Tinder AU & Nerd/Popular Trope
Two themes tied with the same amount of votes, so here’s the compromise: you can choose one, or you can combine them! Do you want to make some art where nerdy chess-geek Clarke and popular athletic Lexa are hanging out? Wanna make some social media edits where they meet on Tinder? Want to write a fic where nerdy Clarke/Lexa is attempting to Tinder and matches with Popular Clarke/Lexa? Go for it.
Day 6- Saturday, March 2nd: Enemies to Lovers
For this theme, Clexa are enemies in whatever capacity who end up falling in love. Are they Heda and Wanheda butting heads? Are they neighbors who hate how loud the other is? Are they coworkers who got off to a really bad start when their car was hit in the parking lot? Are they childhood rivals who compete against one another on the debate team?
Day 7- Sunday, March 3rd: Free Day
Feel free to do whatever you want here! You can use one of the themes you wanted to win but didn’t, you can combine themes, you can ignore the themes and post whatever!
