“I get it. I’m still upset you didn’t ask for my permission or advice about all of this as one of Alexa’s best friends, but I suppose you are forgiven for the moment,” Noelle stated, teasing the other. “I’m happy for the both of you. How long were you planning that?”

“You’re so cheesy,” Alexa rolled her eyes, throwing her arms around his neck and pulling him close, kissing him quickly. “I hate you for making that so public.”

it’s all how he had planned it; the stage in the auditorium, which for now has the curtains drawn, is covered with rose petals and levi is pacing back and forth behind the curtain. he doesn’t have stage fright, but he does have might get rejected by the love of his life in front of the entire school fright. he gives one look to some younger, geeky student who he got to help him out with the whole ordeal, other than mason and freddie. the curtain opens and levi is standing center stage, with a microphone and a spot light comes on.   “ uh hey. hey guys. how’s it going... “  he clears his throat. “ right, okay. so. i’m not gonna stay up here long and be an asshole and hog your prom, but i have something super important i have to do. “  he scans the crowd until he notices the blonde, and then his attention and focus is locked on her. “ lex, “ he starts and grins, a boyish curl of his lips. “ i love you. you know that, everyone knows it. you are the hottest, and smartest and sexiest and most important person in the world, in my life. and i don’t want anyone else ever again. you’re .. my life, lex. and i hope you feel the same way. i think you do. so, i’m just gonna. . . “  then he does it. on the stage, in front of everyone, levi gets down on one knee, fishing out a small and velvet box fro his pocket.  “ alexa marie kovac, will you marry me?  “

Alexa rolled her eyes at him once again, moving to stand up and wrap her arms around him from behind. “Well I’m always talking about you too.”

Alexa rolled her eyes at his implications, shaking her head as she watched him with a smile. “I think it went okay,” she nodded, licking her lips. “Talking to people about what?” Even though she said she didn’t believe the gossip blog, she was still curious.

“Don’t be gross, not in front of the puppy,” she smirked at him, rolling her eyes playfully. “It was… good. Long. I had a huge presentation this morning and the rest of the day dragged.” She leaned her arms against the counter. “You?”

“you didn’t know this existed?” she asked with a raised brow. “its been here for years.” freddie stated. “what kind of lex thing?”

“oh come on levi, i know that didn’t hurt, it would take a lot more than a sweet girl like me saying one little thing to get you down.”

“i get a few nightmares every now and again, have an ugly scar but i’m dealing.”

Smiling, Alexa sat down at the island, watching her boyfriend move around. “I love watching you in the kitchen,” she told him, her smile turning into a smirk.

Alexa smiled when the door opened to reveal her two favorite people, kissing Levi back before bending down to pet the dog. “I grabbed two different kinds of cheese, I didn’t know which you wanted,” she explained, standing and following him.

After texting Levi, Alexa headed to the grocery store and got what they needed to make dinner. She took her time, happy to be out of her house, before heading over to Levi’s house and knocking, bags at her feet.
