  Hermione has never been an active swimmer. She prefers to be in control of things and floating in deep, unknown waters isn’t among those – besides, her hair gets even MORE TANGLED when it gets wet, meaning her head basically turns into one big ball of untamable, brown curls.

  and then there was the SECOND TASK of the Triwizard Tournament.  Though technically she wasn’t harmed and barely remembers anything about her time under the surface, this has played quite a big role in how she feels about water. –yet it cannot be called a fear, for her dislike isn’t big enough to fit into that category.

      maybe the muggle-born should’ve kept in mind she wasn’t surrounded by non-magical beings anymore when she brought up the subject of PINK FLOYD.         The Christmas holidays were over&& she was unpacking her suitcase in her dormitory, preferring the good old way of simply grabbing her belongings and placing them on the shelves and in the drawers over using magic. 

the Gryffindor bends down and her hand grabs the leather-bound book from the floor, her fingertips slightly touching the ground. A smile tugs at the corners of her mouth as she brushes it clean and tilts her head to let her eyes quickly fly over the words on the cover.    Only a few seconds pass before Hermione looks up from the book & rushes after the girl. 

lips part to mumble a ‘  hey   !’ as an attempt to gain the owner of the book’s attention, but they’re instantly pressed together again once she notices the bottle green tie around the girl’s neck&& the almost snow-white color of her hair------ oh.           It almost makes her regret the decision to pick the fallen book up ; maybe it was better off on the floor than in the hands of a MALFOY.
