Evaluatr has a Chrome extension!

A major new version of Evaluatr is available, you can read about the shiny newness on the brand new website.

If you haven’t heard of Evaluatr before, it’s an extension for Tumblr that allows you to rate posts out of 5 stars. You can also add it to your blog or theme if you are a theme developer. Posts that are rated appear on the Evaluatr website, ranked by their popularity.

The Chrome extension puts the rate button on your dashboard, get it from the Chrome Store.

Star Aurora is about to get a fresh new look.

Star Aurora is Level82's most popular theme with just less than 500,000 users.

After two years in the Tumblr Theme Garden, the theme has received a massive update, it has been rebuilt from the ground with a streamlined design, more features and options and built for performance.

Here are some noteworthy changes:

Built from the ground up, not a line of code from the old version is present in the new version.

Tumblr's global appearance options are integrated so the consistency between your blog, the dashboard and the Tumblr apps is off the chart. So much consistency.

Infinite scroll is now served in two flavors - auto (the normal version) or a 'Load More' button.

You can choose the size of the margins around posts.

The menu in the header has been fitted with a search box and social links to Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Flickr and Pinterest.

Hovering over posts has a bunch of quick options such as a like button and reblog button.

Support for Disqus, Evaluatr and Google Analytics included.

Faster and more stable. This version includes no unnecessary lines of code and it comes with Splash's offscreen-post handling which removes posts when they're out of view and returns them when they come back in view.

Lots of little, but awesome things.

Level82 is about to relaunch with a new design...

Level82 is undergoing some considerable changes. We'll be posting each theme for display on the new blog, we apologize in advance.

Untitled Themes is now 'Pixel Lab'

Sort of…

Pixel Lab is the successor to Untitled Themes in many ways a theme designer can be a successor. Untitled Themes, along with Andrew Stichbury separated from Tumblr back in January, which saw the discontinuation of Untitled Themes' themes.

Fixing Infinite Scroll and Other Theme Issues

Go to Customize > Edit HTML and locate the following code, it should be within <head></head>:

This will fix any problems affecting javascript reliant theme parts.

Theme Temporary Fix

To fix any recent theme issues: go to Customize > Edit HTML and locate the following code:

This will fix the problem, when I am at a computer (with the right software) I’ll release an update that will fix this issue and speed the theme up. I promise I will make up for this issue.
