idk maybe if someone who has made it clear before that they dont support or like ai and then as their character (who is supposed to be a vampire who has objectively done bad things before and also has felt personally attacked during an encounter so will not be acting entirely mature or perfect) clearly makes a joke about using ai and, in the way they portray ai is clearly a poke at how absurd ai is and joking with their friends (WHO ALSO DONT LIKE AI) then maybe you could all stop acting like Ally personally committed a great sin and sincerely endorsed ai, just because they didnt (in the middle of a bit) turn to the camera and make a fucking disclaimer. the campaign had already made it clear that ai was the enemy even if it wasnt followed up on because this was not an overly serious campaign.
personally i watched it and rlly wished HJ didnt send that to Maya because it wasnt the 'correct' story choice to fix things with her. but ultimately it was something that despite the clear joke, you could excuse narratively for HJ's character and also didnt end up having any severe consequence for the rest of them cause Lavonte and Maya ended up talking. characters make bad choices sometimes, that doesnt mean u attack the player/writer. also ironic that so many of you also complained that there wasnt enough serious notes in this campaign/u wanted something more layered etc but then couldnt even move past your feelings about one clear joke and decided that you must publicly bash a REAL person for it.
Gen Ai sucks and its shitty and evil but people are allowed to poke fun at it even if you personally dont want to do that, it doesnt mean that they dont sincerely understand the real world impacts ai has and all its cons, they just wanted to also make a joke as well. And again this joke literally did not have any in game impact nor did it actually have any real world impact where it actually as a result encouraged people to use gen ai or anything of the sort nor did Ally actually USE any gen ai at all during the game??
