The toughest times of my life taught me that whatever the battle God is placing in my hands, surely are the battles I am about to win, those that are meant for me. No battle is ever easy but I keep in mind that there is no winner without a battle. And between a winner and a quitter, I am called to be the former and not the latter. Sure, there were times I already thought of quitting. Sometimes, I get tired, I breakdown in pain, in doubts and in fear. But as I try it a little bit more, to stand up, to walk, sometimes to fake it until I am able to make it and to endure the phase I am into, God's grace never run out on equipping me to what I am supposed to be. I am a victor and not a victim. It is amazing how God has been so patient with me and how His forgiveness abound in my shortcomings and failures- immeasurable. It is really impossible of me to look big on my self but I look to my God the greatest of all and with what He can do in my life, I cannot limit- as long as I am letting His grace to work in me. Maybe it is God's way of tapping my shoulder and letting me know that He sees it all and He is there all along. Friends, we may be tired and frustrated with our jobs, personal issues and other matters but we get through it every single day. We don't give up even there's a tendency to because there is always that Help that we don't see but we feel. 𝗔 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗬𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗦. There may be things you don’t understand. There are people who treat you the way you cannot understand. There are situations you don’t know why you’re in. There are things that bothers your peace. At the end of the day, God knows your heart. God sees it all and no matter how much you try to show it to people, these people will believe what they want to. Not because you know the truth, people will listen to you. Not because you explain yourself, they will believe you. And not because you don’t want to lose them, they will stay. People will do as they please and it’s not your job to forbid them to leave. Let them. Hold your peace for yourself. Cherish those who love you in your noise and silence. God will always send people who will be with you and for you without forcing anything. This afternoon, a pastor asked me about my long-term past. She was also a friend and curious about what happened. Siguro almost all would expect that I would end up with him kasi sobrang tagal na namin. Ang pinakahuli ko na lang nasabi sa pastor, "Kung hindi ko po isinurrender kay Lord ang aking past, hindi ko po maeexperience yung best ngayon." Naalala ko pa nung nakikipag bargain ako kay Lord, at humingi ako ng sign... I was eager on waiting for that sign but at the back of my mind, sana pwede pa, pwede pang isalba, pwede pang remedyuhan, yung nasira, baka maayos pa, yung nasimulan, baka maiituloy pa... At the end of the day, God is really asking me to just let it go, SURRENDER. Yung gusto pa rin ni Lord ang nanalo at pagod na rin akong sundin ang gusto ko lang. Simula noon, ipinagtiwala ko sa Lord ang puso ko. And God, it is His nature to take the best care of our hearts if we just let Him. Hindi approve kay Lord ang "pwede na, ang pwede pa..." God is a God of fresh and new start even if it means letting go of the long-term because sometimes long-term can also be toxic.
