Dashiel Holden Lockert

Matt raised his brows when Dash said he’d been in a throuple before. As far as he knew, the man was single now, and that meant that whatever had happened didn’t work out. It wasn’t a great sign, but Matt was curious. “So… tell me what happened. Why didn’t it work out? What was each partner like from your perspective?” he asked, raising a brow and bringing his beer to his lips.

He rolled his eyes and laughed when Dash said he’d look terrible without hair. “Okay, okay… good point. Definitely not moving to a damn monastery,” he snorted.

Dash shrugged slightly when he mentioned the throuple.  He didn’t regret any of it at all.  He smiled though at Matt’s questions.  “We wanted other things and it wasn’t fair for everyone to drag it, even after three plus years.  I still love them both, I can’t imagine a time when I wouldn’t.  Cade had a lot of baggage and lots to deal with but he was a rock and passionate and very much the Alpha if you will.  Sam just wanted to make us both happy.  He was the calm one of us, so good and caring too. He and Cade had a real dynamic relationship, whereas he and I were very push and pull, pushing each other, and then Sam and I were very laid-back, more of taking care of the other.”

Xander smiled at the other and smirked at the other. “We shall.” He move closer and began walking with the other, letting Dash lead the way. “I don’t normally give out massages, but for you? Why not?” He grinned at the other and leaned up to peck his cheek gently. “I mean I’m sure I’ll be able to make you feel all kinds of amazing.” He winked at the other playfully and gave a soft laugh.

“Good.”  He kept Xander close to him, smiling as they walked down the path and toward his place.  Luckily it wasn’t too far from where they were at.  “Oh you don’t hmm?  Well now I feel very special, I hope you won’t be disappointed,” Dash grinned back, leaning in to kiss him back.  “Oh I have no doubt that you will be able to do just that.  I can’t wait.”

There was usually quite beautiful weather on the island, but in a lush, tropical paradise like that, they were also bound to experience heavy downpours. Today was one such day, so Matt invited his friend over to have some beers and hang out at his villa instead. They were in his living room while a hockey game played idly in the background. Matt had decided to open up and shrugged lightly. “They say it’s never too late to try new things. So, I decided to try the whole throuple thing. Only it’s… strange. Not in a bad way, just. I’m struggling to adjust. I’m in love with Oliver, yes. I also really like Nevada. But it’s taking us a while to play catch up. It’s not a bad thing, but I’m wondering if I’m just overthinking the whole thing. I just don’t want Nev to feel turned off if I’m not… you know, jumping at the bit. These things kinda take a while with me. Does that make ANY sense at all? Maybe I should just tell them to be happy and move off to become a Franciscan monk. Only I’m pretty sure I’d die if I had to shave my hair off, so, maybe not.”

Dash was grateful for the reprieve from the weather, and getting to spend some time with Matt as well.  He always loved a good hockey game regardless of the team and he hadn’t really seen Matt beyond friendly hellos in a bit.  He smiled as he took another drink and shrugged.  “New things are always good I think too.  And I get it, the strange part of it.  I was involved in one a few years ago, and adjusting to each other and the new dynamics can be a bit much at first.  So yeah it makes complete sense to me.”  He laughed and shook his head.  “No offense but I think all that you just said is completely wrong, and you would look terrible without hair,” he replied with a grin.

Xander smiled at the other and nodded his head. “Massages are pretty great. I think I’m pretty decent at giving them.” As the other moved closer, he placed his hand on the other’s chest. “New plan, how about instead we go back to your place and I can give you a massage. Way more private and a lot more fun when it’s a friend giving them out.”

“I think so too.”   Dash smiled and raised an eyebrow.  “Well now, you  didn’t mention being the one to give them.  That’s even better in my pinion.”  He watched as Xander got closer to him and then placed his hands over Dash’s chest and he didn’t exactly turn away either.   He grinned more at the offer chuckled.  “Oh well now, I like this plan an awful lot more.  I think going back to my place is the best idea yet.  I am all about fun with friends too.”  He pulled the other closer to him.  “Shall we?”

Marcus smiled at the other and nodded his head at the other. “I agree. This place’s beauty is second to none.” He gave a soft laugh and nodded his head as he heard the other talk about his experience living in the city before moving here. “Oh, same! I used to live in San Fran. And before that it was Austin. So my life had always been a lot of moving around.”

“Family business, huh? Sounds like a lot of pressure. I left home to try and get away from like… my family’s money and legacy and stuff.” He gave a soft smile at the other, running his fingers through his hair. “There is a lot to take in. I don’t mind it though. It makes it all so much more exciting, you know?”

“Isn’t it?  I don’t think they could’ve picked a better spot for this whole resort to be.”  Dash smiled and grabbed for his bottle of water and lit up when Marcus spoke of his own growing up in the city.  “West Coast hmm?  I grew up in Seattle myself.  I’ve moved around a lot as an adult though; I like seeing new places too.  Hence part of the reason I’m here now,” he said with a wider grin.

Dash shrugged nonchalantly, still smiling.  “It can be but I love the challenge.  My parents are super supportive of me and my siblings which is great.  He watched the other’s moments letting him continue.  “That sounds like a big decision, getting away from family and legacy like that.  It’ couldn’t have been an easy choice to make.  But coming here, definitely a good choice,” Dash laughed, “and this place is exciting if nothing else too.”

Xander smiled at the other and nodded his head. “The spa is pretty nice. I always love a good massage. Makes you really feel like you know what relaxing is.” He laughed easily and beamed brightly at the other. “Together, hm? Well what a nice offer you’re making.” He moved closer to the other and placed his arm on the other’s shoulder, giving a soft smile. “The answer is yes, by the way. I definitely want to tag along with you.”

“Hell I think a good massage is always necessary and we’re on an island, we should be all relaxed,” Dash grinned as he stepped slightly closer to Xander.  “Things are better when done together, don’t you think?”  Dash moved in closer to him and smiled wider.  “Good, that makes me very happy.  I will make sure you have a very good time.”

Xander smiled at the other and nodded his head. “Well then it sounds like we ought to skinny dip some time soon.” He grinned brightly and nodded his head. “The island is amazing. I’ve been to the spa a few times and it’s pretty amazing.” He gave a soft laugh and beamed brightly at the other.

Dash laughed, his eyes twinkling at the suggestion.  “I think we definitely will have to do that, sooner than later.  Just saying.”  He kept grinning as Xander continued raving about the island.  “The Spa sounds good as well.  Definitely on my list of things to be doing and soon as well.  Though probably after the skinny dipping.” He had a feeling they could keep smiling at each other and go round and round about what they’d like.  “I’m not busy now if you want to go and find one of those things to do, together.”

Marcus smiled easily at the other and nodded his head. “I’m sure that even if it rained, it would still be quite beautiful. The nature really is wonderful.” He gave a soft laugh and looked down as the water rolled up along the shore, gently brushing over his feet. Being on the island really has made me appreciate the beauty around me even more.

“It’s nice to meet you as well.” He grinned when the other said he was in real estate. “Oh wow. I’ve heard that that’s a good market to me in.” When the other asked if he had been around long, the man shook his head. “No. I actually just got here earlier this week.” He smiled softly and rubbed the back of his neck. “Still getting my bearings, you know?”

“I’m pretty sure that would be the case as well.  Not many things could make the place be unattractive that’s for sure,” Dash replied.  He paused for a moment as the water splashed up against his feet.  “I grew up in the city so being out here has really been amazing to see and the island is full of so many wonderful things as well.”

He smiled at the other as their conversation continued.  “Agreed.  And yes it really is.  Its part of the family business so I’ve been around it for as long as I can remember.”  Dash nodded in agreement. “Ah you’re a newbie like me then too.  It’s only bee a few weeks now since I’ve gotten here myself.  I can definitely understand finding one’s way for sure.  There is a lot to take in.”

Marcus sighed softly as he stretched out on the beach. He loved the feeling of the sun on his skin and the sand beneath his toes. Currently he was wearing nothing but his swim trunks which were hanging low on his hips and pretty short all things considered. He was excited to get out and to be back on the beach. Looking around, Marcus noticed another person and smiled brightly. “Hey! Suns great today, right?” Marcus knew that part of living on the island would be making new friends and meeting new people so he was eager to get started.

“I’m Marcus.” He walked over and held out his hand. “I’m just an accountant. Nothing too flashy.” He had quickly come to realize that a lot of the people here were either famous or just exceedingly wealthy so he liked to clear up right away his lack of following in just about any sense of the word.

So far Dash was doing a pretty good job at creating a nice tan on his skin.  He didn’t want to burn so he was taking it easy.  He loved the sea and the beach so he was a regular especially in the mornings.  He stood on the edge of the shore, his feet just getting wet in the waves coming up.  Dash smiled and nodded.  “Hey back!  It really is.  I have yet to see a truly bad day here so far.”

He turned and took his hand and smiled.  “I’m Dash, nice to meet you.  I’m in real estate, nothing too fancy myself.”  He was happy to make friends and acquaintances here on his own merit and technically he hadn’t said anything untrue.  “been here long?  On the island I mean?”

“That would be great, more help the better. Thank you, I would hate to take you away from your run, though,” he interjected. Emilio peered around them before gesturing in the opposite direction. “I haven’t looked off over there yet, we could start there.”

“I don’t mind really, more than happy to help out.  I can always run later,” Dash replied.  He glanced around and nodded, letting Emilio lead the way.  “Sure you lead the way, I’ll lend the extra eyes and optimism for a quite recovery.”

Xander smiled at the other and chuckled easily. “Well I’m glad we agree. Maybe we’ll end up skinny dipping together sometimes.” He grinned at the other and winking at him playfully. “Got any idea what you want to do first? I always like hearing about what guys do when they first arrive. Mostly because it’s usually what they think will be the most fun of all.”

“Good, me too.  Hey stranger things have happened.  I don’t have an issue with skinny dipping alone or together.  Makes things more fun,” Dash grinned at him.  He was flirting with Dash and he really didn’t mind in the least.  “I’ve already been to the beach but hey it’s an island but I do love that.  I don’t know something at the caves or easy like the spa.”

Ben: I don't know... maybe?

Ben: Can you get me pizza?

Dash: Hmm, just maybe...

“I have not checked with security, but if all else fails that’s where I’ll be,” Emilio stated and smile over at the friendly stranger. There was also the pet center for him to look at if he couldn’t find BP. “Thank you, I would appreciate that. It’s nice to meet you, Dash. I’m Emilio. I hope you enjoy your run.”

“I hope they have a good word for you,” he replied and smiled at the other.  “You’re welcome, and not a problem.  Nice to meet you too Emilio.  Do you maybe want some help in looking?  I wouldn’t mind at all.  More eyes the better you know?”

Xander smiled at the and nodded his head. “Indeed. And I like the beaches. Sun and water and getting to be naked whenever I want… It’s a lot of fun.” He nodded his head. “There’s lots of like hiking and cliff jumping. It’s pretty fun if you like that kind of stuff.”

“the beaches really are great here.  Cade couldn’t have picked a better place to put the resort really.”  Dash laughed.  “Spending time in the sun and water, especially naked is never a bad idea either.  I’m rather anti-clothes most of the time.”  Dash was glad to know there were more who liked that sort of thing too.  “Sounds like there is everything we could think of to do around here.”

Ben: Would it make me a bad person to let a guy think he actually has a chance to sleep with me just so I can get him to buy me pizza?

Ben: I'm just so hungry and free pizza is always great.

Ben: Why am I even asking you this.

Dash: I don't know, does it make me a bad person to think that's not such a bad thing?

Dash: You know, because pizza.
