Let's Trux it up!

Meet my Dinotrux OC! Before you guys go shaking you heads, I wanted to put this out there so this blog has more content. I'm also trying to write a fanfic which includes this character so I'll maybe do some scenarios with this character.

Note- this may be considered a Mary-Sue. This is also part of a CanonXOC pairing.

Name: Diesel

Species: T-trux

Sex: Female

Appearence: Navy blue with dark grey accents. A tapered snout and less pronounced underbite. Her wreaking ball is adorned with small spikes that can be detached and grow back over time. Slightly smaller than Ty.

Personality: Diesel is usually quiet and likes to keep to herself, but is also incredibly curious and enjoys learning new things. She has a strong sense of loyalty, standing beside her friends through thick and thin, and does not like seeing anyone struggle or being in pain. While she is mostly quiet, she does have a playful side with sarcastic quips or jokes that come out sometimes. Since she is a T-trux, Diesel is prone to bursts of anger, but it takes a lot to get her mad and when she is, she needs something to let her let off steam such as smashing something or going for a drive. When Diesel is in a fight, she is vicious, often using her mouth as well as her tail and will use anything to her advantage.

Bio: Diesel was born to a pair of t-truxes who already had two sons. Her mother was loving towards her and her siblings while her father was strict but protective and caring. When she was little, Diesel was the smallest of her siblings, as are most female T-tuxes. And since she was smaller, her older brothers picked on her as they considered her weaker. This treatment forced her to learn to defend herself, learning fighting techniques that gave her an upper hand and practicing speed. She became so adept at defending herself that she eventually gained the respect of her brothers as she entered adolescence.

Her brothers were the first to leave their parents’ territory, having left together. At this point, her father was getting older and slower, particularly after a nasty run-in with Scraptors. So Diesel helped her parents in their territory’s upkeep for the next few years, earning a vicious reputation as a Trux not to be messed with. When she was old enough, she left the territory on her own, going in the same direction as her brothers.

A few weeks later, she found herself on the outskirts of the Crater where she was attacked by Desert Scraptors. It was during this fight that part of her voice box was damaged. The fight led to a rock slide which buried her under a pile of rocks out cold and at the Scraptors’ mercy. Luckily, Diesel was found by Ty and the other Dinotrux while they were out on an ore run. They fought off the Scraptors and freed her from the rocks where they realized she had a damaged voice box and suffered from amnesia from the rockslide. They brought her back to their hideout in the Hidden Forest to repair her and help her to regain her memories.

Part 2 of 'Dinotrux with Crushes'. This time this is how the Reptools react and act around possible crushes.

Revit: Is usually too busy dealing with the Trux and builds that he seems to be oblivious. All he knows is that he likes being around them and bouncing ideas off of each other.

Then it hits him one day while he was having trouble solving a problem with some building plans. They had come over and pointed out something he had missed and thought up a helpful solution, thus resolving the issue. From there, Revit began noticing things that he didn't before like how focused they are, how smart/resourceful, their bravery, etc.

Revit tries to not let it affect him as he has a lot to deal with, but the others (especially Ty) eventually notice that something is definitely on his mind. They'd sometimes catch him zoned out or watching them from afar, only for him to deny it and come up with a reasonable lie (which he's horrible at).

The others catch on quick (especially Ty) and frequently tease him when they catch him zoning out or really anytime he's around them. They don't do it in front of them which Revit is silently thankfully for. He's a good sport about it and will justify (*read come up with an excuse) but does get frustrated sometimes.

Ace: Ace is like Ton-Ton in that she doesn't realize it's happening as she's having too much fun. She's also the type to be very competitive.

Then they impress her with some cool or gutsy move and all bets are off. Ace dials up the stunts in an effort to impress them and it just keeps on going. She does like how they seem to have a line that they won't cross and will try to keep her from crossing it too. Within reason.

Ace takes the teasing well, letting it roll right off her, which surprises the others. But come on! It's Ace. She will actually respond 'Yep!' to jokes on her spending so much time with them. If you ask Dozer, 'She takes all the fun out of it'.

Waldo: Waldo is in complete denial and gets grumpy when it gets brought up. He's also the kind to be very protective of them.

Then they turn the whole 'you need to be more careful' thing onto him and he's speechless. Ace will have to push has jaw back into place with a smug grin. They're the only other sane one *besides Revit but even he has his moments* in their group and he's thankful. As mentioned before, Waldo gets pretty protective over them which leads to many arguments between them. The others find it entertaining to watch Waldo try to tell them to be careful only to have it either thrown back at him or them to merely roll their eyes.

Waldo does his best to brush off the teasing with some sarcastic remark about it but he does get frustrated. This only seems to make things worse so he decides to walk away and quit while he's ahead.

Click-Clack: Click-Clack is more jumpy than usual and becomes a shaking/stuttering mess. If that's even possible.

They are usually really calm and understanding when it comes to Click-Clack's anxiety which helps calm him down. Soon he is seeking them out when he has another episode and the two are frequently seen together. Whether that be hanging out in the garage/adventures or hiding away someplace quiet when he gets scared.

Click-Clack doesn't do very well with teasing. Any mention of his supposed crush leaves him stuttering and trying to come up with an excuse. Sometimes its so much that he just flees to his panic room or somewhere out of sight. So the others don't really have the heart to get him that flustered. He can stand light teasing, but there is a line that is easy to cross.

Kind of? I'm not in the fandom much anymore but I do like seeing new content for Dinotrux.

Here are my thoughts on how Ty and the others react to having a crush and how they would act around that crush.

General: I think that if the others knew that one of the Trux had a crush they'd probably tease them non stop. More so when the crush isn't around but they will do it in front of them too- just not as obviously. They'd also be huge shippers (*Come on, tell them already!*) and supporters, being there in case it doesn't turn out well.

Ty: He's the kind that gets to know someone before developing a crush. He's friendly to everyone and that's how it starts- with friendship.

Then maybe they do something like an impressive stunt/move or do a self-less act that makes him go "whoa." From then on he is more attracted to them and trying to do more things with them. Although he sometimes comes off as awkward.

Ty is also the kind to show off. With just about anything. "Hey ____ , did you see that?" "Here comes the thunder!" "Don't worry, I got this!" He will do crazy stunts and challenges (Ton-Ton is the one that usually starts it) in order to impress them. Which doesn't always go according to plan and he gets a few more dents that Revit has to fix.

Because of his obvious crush, the others tease him relentlessly. Revit included. He's a good sport about it but tries to change the subject. Gets extremely awkward when they decide to tease him when his crush is around, complete with nervous laughter and denial.

Skya: Skya is similar to Ty in the sense that she is the sort to get to know someone before crushing. She is also the kind to play hard to get. (Nope, not interested *secretly interested*)

She will act like she doesn't care but she is always showing off for them, doing skillful but unnecessary tricks. This confuses the others as she seems to get more competitive than usual when the crush is around.

Once the others catch on that she does indeed have a crush, they tease her. Skya is more defensive, denying any accusations of having a crush and threating to introduce them to her hook. So teasing her has a definite line that the others don't want to cross.

Dozer: Dozer is in complete denial and is incredibly defensive. Although he isn't quite as moody when they are around.

He starts off indifferent to them, like they're just another friend. Then maybe they get snarky or do some inpressive dozing/fighting and Dozer finds himself liking them more. Bonus points if they have a soft spot for the Tortools.

The others don't tease him if they don't want him blowing up at them. Teasing is usually done in a hit and run type thing but they can sometimes get away with with it if they do it subtlety. The best course is to tease him when he's out of earshot.

Ton-Ton: The one who has know idea he's crushing until the others point it out. He's too busy having an awesome time with them.

He spends a lot of time hanging out and doing things with them. And of course Ton-Ton shows off his impressive stunts. He can also stumble a little over his words which the others think is hilariously adorable (Dozer just finds it hilarious). He's surprisingly considerate of the other and will do things that they are comfortable with even if they're something he doesn't normally do (like sitting still or going on a leisurely drive).

The others of course tease him but he either just doesn't care or they go over his head. Since it doesn't get much of a reaction, they pretty much gave up teasing him. Though in general, he's a good sport about it when they do.
