You are the reason I get up despite wanting to stay in bed because I'm so tired. No up to get you because you are my daughter my responsibility my life. I stepped up twice as much when he stepped out but that also makes it twice as hard but you are worth it in every way. The cheeky smiles, the giggles, the looks you give me knowing that I'm your mumma and I got you. I didnt understand how unbelievably hard this is being a parent, being a single parent because you were a surprise and I wasnt completely ready but I didnt regret it because being a mum is what I always wanted and dreamed of and the best surprises come when you least suspect them. You came into my life when you knew you needed to and are so bloody stubborn but so full of happiness and joy and I've helped you to be like that. I sacrificed drinking or partying and having fun with friends because I put your needs before mine and dam right I should that's my job. Days I miss the freedom & the fun and just leaving the house without so much stuff (not risking a poo explosion again) but thats what is needed right now. We are a team & we do things together. We create our own adventures & as hard as it is i have my mum, my grandma, my whole family as well as a few friends who have stuck with me through it all. All of which I'll never stop being so grateful for, for just the simplest thing like popping in to yarn, showing up to my daughters birthday, buying me food cause I forget to eat, buying her more food cause you know the stress of running low gets to me, watching her so I can go to the bathroom in peace for the first time that day all of it matters so much to me in every possible way that I would of lost it completely without you. Monkey you drive me mental sometimes & I know there's so much ahead of us & I will be there by your side the whole way. At the end of the day all that frustration melts away as I see you on the monitor asleep so peacefully probably knowing you drove me made but smiling because all you know is love. I did that I got us here yes with help but I got us here whilst studying,keeping a roof over your head,keeping up with payments and taking car of your fur-brother. I did that.
