sorry but literally every female on this earth is suited to feminism. being in a partnership with a man is not a lobotomy and acting like it is is sexist. Andrea Dworkin wrote woman hating while married.
mothers can and do critique institutions of marriage and childrearing. if you look at the composition of orgs who are advocating for women, you'll find a mix of ssa, osa, mothers, and childfree women. we are all suited for the work.
there are mothers on here who interpret feminist analysis as a personal attack, and there are just as many mothers on here making brilliant feminist analyses themselves. their status as mothers doesn't cheapen their contributions.
feminist mothers provide us with the knowledge that helps us advocate for mothers who are stifled by their husbands, or who are unable to advocate for themselves. not all mothers fall into this category. many make excellent feminists. exclude them at all of our peril.
