i’m so glad dylan o’brien is okay. he went through so much and the fandom has been kept in the dark for so long that we had no idea what he was going through. i’m just happy he was able to make it out of that dark place, continue acting and come back to us. 

Man I’ve been wondering about what’s been going on with him and the TDC movie. It’s that time of year (okay, technically the exact date) that I think about TMR and things, and I never remembered hearing much about the movie after hearing Dylan got hurt like two years ago.

hmm theres only one male writer ive read books that can write female characters realistically so im not expecting anything! i really enjoyed alive by scott sigler last year and a friend told me to read maze runner because theyre similar, ill probably still end up reading it.

EVERYTHING BY JAMES DASHNER IS SO MALE-WRITTEN I COULD CRY. I even made it thought the eye of minds series, because I was so in love with the concept for the book, but the delivery of the main female character and a possible antagonist that was also a girl just made me want to cringe.

I've always just assumed it was Thomas's point of view that made all the female characters and his interactions with them suck, not the fault of the author but now I suppose it could be Dashner's fault. I just figured since the other characters are wonderful and lovable, it was the way Thomas was written that made the females look worse but I guess that does make it the fault of the author because we're supposed to like Thomas.
