I went to listen to this song and really. I hear "Shane."

English is my third language, and learning it is a headache for me, especially by ear. So if I, being crazy about the Canadian freckled hockey player, had heard this song, then yes, I would have heard only his name. I suppose it was the same for Ilya. This song is more than that. She's part of the Hollanov story and love in their big puzzle. The perfect piece.

This is my Heated Rivalry x In Your Court tennis AU! There's a little tennis. But lots of smut and love! 🎾

Hollander's hand brushes my lower back as we take the obligatory photos on each side of the court and with the special guest. A local celebrity that is giving me the 'come fuck me' eyes. Hollander's touch burns and I can't help the shiver that runs down my spine, despite the heat of the day. It's unseasonably warm for June in Paris. The red clay courts keep the chill of the evening. I've left my blood and sweat on these red courts for the last three weeks. The umpire gives the usual speech about a clean game. She gives me a look. I've had a few fines for audible foul language, but not enough to suffer this harsh of a look. Then again, Brianna Thompson is not my biggest fan. "Good luck Hollander." I wink. "May the best man win." "See you on the other side Rozanov." Hollander gives what he thinks is a cocky smile. "As the best man." I know he was so proud of that one.

Sweet Home Alexander (SH | T | 52K) Might as well start this list with my first fic ever. It's far from perfect but mostly I can't believe I did a multi-chapter this long on my first attempt?? (Who was I in 2019?! And how do I become her again??) I'm glad the idea wouldn't leave me alone though. Because no one else was going to write it....so why not me?

Go In Hard, Come Out Wet, an Olympic story (RWRB | E | 11k) I don't really write explicit fics (only 2/39 of mine are rated E) so this was more an exercise in getting over my insecurities and trying. I think its okay and the attempt deserves a highlight here.

storytime (RWRB | M | 6.6k) One of my higher kudo'd fics that was just fun to write. Plus, I did not spend 8 years working in a public library not to write a librarian at some point.

Check, please! (RWRB | T | 2.6K) The prompt for this was too good to pass up and a lighthearted way to talk about strict dynamics that some take very seriously. Plus, this was a good opportunity to try an an outsider POV.

The Difficult Task (SH | T | 3k) Again, this was another fic tackling a challenging subject but with much more angst. (ngl, revisiting this one makes me want to flex my angst writing skills again....)

Wyatt: I wanted to check that were still on for board game night? Ilya: Yes wyatt we will be be there for boring game night Wyatt: I'm sure that was a typo :) Wyatt: I also just wanted to go over the rules one more time Wyatt: 1. You will talk to Shane about how it’s just a game and that it’s just for fun Wyatt: 2. It doesn’t matter who wins or who loses Ilya: Yes yes I will remind him of these rules Ilya: Even though they are all fucking lies Ilya: Of course winning matters Ilya: And me and my Shane will crush you at your boring game Wyatt: Well this actually does a great job of bringing us to rule 3 Wyatt: Winning cannot be celebrated by having sex in my bathroom

Or: 5 times Ilya tries to fuck his husband, and 1 time he actually does.
