" hey kentaro, whatchu doing? " you looked up at him expecting his gaze on you, but it seemed he didnt care much that you were there.. just focused on the machine which had just ate his money.

He had let an annoyed sigh before speaking " what do you think little oikawa.. " as you expected.. he never called you by y/n. " my name isnt little oikawa..! How many times do i- " you cut your self off with a sigh, it was pointless to argue with this guy...

" never mind, I was gonna ask.. if we could like.. umm " at first you were confident to talk to him but now your words were messing up! You looked away from him quickly as seen his stupid annoyed stare towards you. " hurry it up.. " he spat out, not even putting it in a nice way.

" i-i was just wondering if we could walk together!! " your words came out of your mouth so fast you werent sure he caught all of that.. " cant.. " he grumbled as he focused back on the machine, kicking it like it was going to do something.

" huh.. Why? " you sounded a bit disappointed as you brushed past him, noticing he was struggling with the stupid machine " did it eat your money? This one sucks its always doing that.. " you smashed some buttons before it started to work again, the drink kyotani wanted had came out.

As you bent down, grabbing his drink he spoke but with a more lighter tone which was surprising " got detention.. " he stepped out of your way, taking the drink only after you offered it to him. " oh.. " before you could get sad about it, you heard your annoying brothers voice shout out for you.

" Hey y/n! Leave your little boyfriend alone, We gotta head home! " Toru shouted over everyone which caused somw stares.. gosh you felt so embarrassed! " oh god.. Im so sorry!! I-ill see you tomorrow " you quickly apologized before running off, leaving kyotani there feeling confused.

As you ran up to your brother he had that stupid smug look on his ugly face " whats your problem toru, Can't you go one day without embarrassing me!? " you hissed as you shoved his shoulder, but he only responded with a shove back aswell with a chuckle " well its the truth, is it not? Your always trying to get his attention " he rolled his eyes, both of you now walking together to head home.

Some time had passed, well atleast 2 weeks.. you'd expected your time with kyotani to be great since youve been making progress and hints that you like him, and its been working honestly, you both seemed to he getting along like his hard shell was cracking.

At the moment you were waiting outside the school gates for kyotani, for once he actually wanted to walk you home. (after you had pestered him) The sun was already setting, afterall you have been waiting for kyotani to be done with practice.

As kyotani was stuffing his bag getting ready to leave practice, a certain annoying brown haired boy had walked up behind him. " so.. y/n told me your walking them home, thats true right? " he picked up his duffel bag swinging it over his shoulder. " the hell do you want. " toru let out a scoff before responding. " heyy, dont be like that just making sure you dont hurt my dear little sibling! " As toru kept being dramatic kyotani just walked off, leaving the gym and slamming the door behind him.

Kyotani made his to the exit of the school where you have been waiting for him. Once you came into his view he had tensed up, already regretting on agreeing to walk you home.

For a moment he thought about ditching you but gave up, finally having courage to walk up to you. He made his way to you, stopping right besides you getitng quite close, he placed his hand on the top of your head, simply messing it up. " hurry up, I've got places to be. " you looked up at him, a hint of bkush appearing on your cheeks. You then got up from your seat on the ground, patting the dust off of your pants/skirt. " you didnt have to mess with my hair you know.."

As you both were headed twaords your home the atsmopshere had changed around you both, it felt uncomfortable and stiff. so trying to lighten the mood you had tried to start a normal conversation alive. " sooo... how was volleyball practice? " you looked up at him as you started to drift closer towards his side. " boring.. " his reply was short snd quiet, he seemed annoyed..

kyotani didnt mean to, honestly.. he just had a feeling he'd ruin this, but also letting you see his weak side. " Back off..! " his voice distant and harsh, he then shoved you away with his elbow, striking you on your shoulder. " Ow! " you gasped, being shoved didnt hurt that much, but coming from him it hurt alot snd not physically..

" h-hey.. whats your issue?! " you held your shoulder where he had just shoved you. " You! You're the issue, you and your damn brother just being so damn annoying!! " kyotani had no idea what he was doing, but he knew just to shout instead of letting his real emotions spill. " just always bugging me, leave me the hell alone.. I want nothing to do with you alright?! "

His sudden outburst had taken you by suprise, and it made you think, what the hell was this guys problem!? I mean those weeks together it seemed he was getting better on letting you, but why now? " whatever.. " you didnt wanna argue anymore, maybe you were being annoying by constantly bugging him and following him around.

You didn't want to continue arguing with him, so in the end you had just left.
