I take my hand applied finishes and translate them to the real finishes on the houses. Hand rendering the exterior finishes of aged stucco and mortar finishes using mixed media. Then the trick is to get the actual house to look as good as the renderings. Innovative solutions for timeless interiors. Houses used to have built-in cabinets that all looked alike. Yes the kitchen cabinets, the study cabinets and the master bath room cabinets were all the same. “History repeats itself”.......There is now a movement underway to return to this approach. Instead of the cabinetry having more furniture details. There is a certain appeal to both directions. In my opinion it is a more timeless approach to have some detail in the cabinetry. “Less can be more”, but can also be plain and boring after you live with them for a while. French Country family room. Leo designed the tv wall to make the flat screen TV become part of the French style cabinet.
