Just a Bad Dream

Not heavy? Aren’t muscles supposed to be heavy? And he has muscles. He does! 

           She could have waited for him to at least get his shirt off, honestly. Because            by the time she started pushing him it was half way off, the coffee stain resting            over his face and yes it was still hot enough to cause discomfort. She was trying            to kill him, that was the only reasoning he could find. First she pours steaming hot            coffee down his front, then she tries undressing him and now she obviously wants            him to melt his face off.

           He drops his suspicions along with his shirt when she speaks. He’s certain,            completely and totally sure that she didn’t mean it in the way he wanted her            to but really who was he to pass up a chance to make her blush.

In the back of her head the thought that the shirt he had halfway off over his face might be bugging him occurred to her, but the sudden reminder of her brother and his tendency to violently jump to conclusions was a bit more pressing and she internally scolds herself for not thinking it sooner.

Honestly, to anyone else it shouldn't have been a big deal, Lenalee thinks with a tired huff as she pushes him to his room and  through his doorway, closing it behind him. It was nothing she hadn't seen before, nothing to get worked up about.

Or, at least that's what she tells herself, until his words sink in (not paying proper attention at all, get it together Lenalee!), and she turns to tell him off about it, just as he's pulling the rest of his shirt off, because shame is a foreign word to him. Her eyes widen, her cheeks redden, and Lenalee manages to get out two sentences before taking a very serious interest in the floor.

Welcome to Lavilena Week 2014!

This week is a celebration of the relationship between Lavi and Lenalee Lee from D.Gray-Man by Katsura Hoshino, and will run from November 2nd through November 8th, 2014! We’re excited to be hosting the first event of this kind for this pairing.

Each day features a theme, which we hope will inspire you to create fanworks of any type - fanfiction, fanart, GIFs, edits, etc.! We’ll be reblogging entries to this blog.

           ” Hey, no part of me is shy. If you think this is something that should be              done immediately I’ll just have ta’ get undressed. Jus’ following your orders              anyway, doc. Oh c’mon Lenalee, this is just one big plan to get me naked, I              understand really I do no need to be coy about it. “

Lenalee frowns, pushing her bottom lip forward at his teasing, but bites back her retorts now that he's actually listening to her. Watching him start to disrobe, however, puts into sharp relief what this might look like to any "concerned parties" who might happen to pass by, and, suddenly, moving him to a less public space sounds very necessary.

 She placed two hands at the small of his back and started pushing, with purpose, and, in a tone that sounded cheerful enough, trilled out,

"On second thought...Lavi. Bedroom. Now. Okay?"

"Ah! Lavi, i’m so sorry, it was an accident, I should have been watching where i was going!" She hurriedly puts the mug down and tugs at his shirt . "You should really change out of those clothes!"

"No, dummy, I only meant- because now your clothes are all wet and- burns, you might have gotten burnt and- I just meant you should be quick about this, if you're feeling shy you can change in your room- Just what do you mean by 'is that any surprise'?"

          Despite the slight discomfort in his cheeks he doesn’t protest her actions           right away. Best to let her get out all her semi-violent behavior now. He’ll           just use this time to wrap both his arms around her waist, honestly he’s just           trying to get comfortable himself. Though there was a good chance if her           brother ever found out about this, he’d never be comfortable again. Ah,           risks worth taking. 

She isn't blind to the hands that have wormed their way around her and are now resting at her back, nor how the touches feel almost too natural, too comfortable. That, coupled with his words, has her letting go of his cheeks and ducking her head, thrown off-guard and a bit embarrassed, and hoping he hadn't noticed her blinking up at him like a goldfish.

She tries to recover quickly, answering his question while staring resolutely at the wall, which does absolutely nothing to hide the blush that she hasn't noticed blooming high in her cheeks.

"I never said that either...," Lenalee continues, noting with each word how much of a liar she is, with her eyes still fixed on the space just next to his head, "I have no problem with looking at you at all..." Or at least she hadn't, until now.

           He throws an arm around her, one hand absentmindedly feeling            around for one of her own. Having Lenalee around was a good            way to keep him up, unsure if he’d be able to sleep right away            when she was pulled so close. A hum in response to her ‘i know’,            and he’s pretty sure she knows him the best out of the order members;            not that his sleeping habits were uncommon knowledge.

Lenalee settles closer to him, snuggling up in his body heat unconsciously like a cat. She's almost comfortable enough to take a tiny nap herself, but then he speaks again, making her roll over and tug at his face some more, using both hands this time for his cheekiness.

She sinks down next to him with a sigh and offers him a resigned, "I know." He spent most of his free time napping, often in the strangest places, and it had Lenalee wondering sometimes how much sleep he was able to get at night, if any.
