Day 5: Memory

I’m p sure this is exactly how it went down in canon. I’m also p sure he thinks about this memory at least once a month fondly and then beats himself up over letting himself feel that way in the first place :p

She’s been watching him for almost half an hour, brow furrowed thoughtfully, and he isn’t quite sure if he should say something or not. He doesn’t have to wonder for long, though.

When he was young, he saw his eidetic memory as a gift. It allowed him to record everything, as a Bookman should.

The letters didn’t come very often, once every few months or so, but Lenalee waited for the mail diligently every day.

It was strange.
