Behold….. MY headcanon Solana & Lunick when in casual wear / off duty. ❤️💙 Also, here’s some of my general headcanons for my version of them in my works 😋:
Age 19/20 at start of game canon, both 21 by finale. Often depicted 23-26ish range in my works / postcanon :3
Employed by the International Ranger Union (Fiore Division) via consistently renewed contracts. They remain stationed at Ringtown Base for majority of career/multiple years.
Part of compensation in contract is included room & board; they live in dorms on the base. All Rangers have their own individual bed/bathroom and do not share, but the floor is co-ed.
Meals/access to the internal cafeteria is included in contract as well.
Rangers work 4-5 days of the week on patrol/active duty and/or training, and are expected to help maintain the shared spaces during at least one of their days off (ie- help with dishes for one of the meal times etc. Not like a whole extra shift on their day off just something that maybe takes an hour or two to help upkeep). Rangers are always on call around the clock in case of emergency; having a central dormitory and housing on-base helps facilitate quick mobilization.
Rangers also have regular in-service training days, which include physical tests alongside capture challenges to ensure the Ranger is in peak condition/readiness at all times.
Solunick are mutually oblivious mutually pining best friends to lovers slow burn that everyone else can see straight through but them, they just think this is all totally normal #bestfriendthings😭 Literally the entire region teases them / cracks comments about it at their expense, and it’s become a totally-a-joke-not-me-saying-pleasepleasepleasepleas- inside joke
