No I don’t think Jensen is a homophobe and no I don’t think he hates Destiel. I’m just slightly annoyed how it’s treated as a fanon thing when it was literally used in canon in the show, so it does feel a bit invalidating to hear it treated like that. And maybe that’s just him not watching the show or him not remembering things or not seeing what’s right in front of him so I don’t take it too seriously, it’s just a bit annoying. Anyway that’s all I had say for a moment

First, I appreciate your feelings and it is very close to how I feel. So thanks for that. I really get frustrated and feel invalidated with people’s attitudes of “shut up and get over it”. So, I just don’t express myself unless someone brings it up.

I’m not aware that #it was mentioned this weekend. But for some reason Jared gave destiel a stamp of approval. 🤷‍♀️

The Destiel comment didn’t come across as mocking at all and the story is one that gets told all the time. Al Cal literally told it at his panel under his favorite thing that happened on the set because Jensen and Jared got booted from the set for being difficult.

I was just telling someone else that this j2 panel was so much better than last year in Boston.

What a lot of people should remember is it’s the first J2 Creation con of the season. There was going to be bro talk. But, there wasn’t nearly as much as usual, and if my memory serves, Jensen didn’t initiate any of it.

And this is close to the end of the panel so how many other times did he do this?

He absolutely monopolized the Gold panel. Interjected every time Jensen spoke, responded first even when a question wasn’t directed toward him, and had to have the last word after every question.

To be fair the only thing you guys have to “prove” Jared is homophobic is him *checks notes* saying the exact same thing Jensen did. Nothing else, he’s even more open to queer readings about his character than Jensen is and participates in lgbtq+ centred events. But sure he’s more homophobic than the guy who vehemently refuses to even consider his character as bisexual and the guy who uses destiel as a cash cow he relates to sex 95% of the time. Like that makes sense 🫩
