Harry had thought that he'd done his job. He'd sacrificed it all, killed the Dark Lord and became a single Dad to his godson. Settling into his life after Hogwarts he thought that he could just let things quiet down before he made any career choices much to the disappointment of the masses.

It seemed that Death and Fate had other plans. Who was he to argue with them.

And maybe... just maybe he would finally find what he had resigned himself to never experience. After all, things in the past never come back... right?

Have been searching all day for this fic.
