After a pandemic, a climate crisis and a world annihilating meteor has changed planet earth forever, a parasitic fungi has started to take on human brains for hosts. The parasite fusing with the human conscience of its hosts was now considered sentient. In these new accepting times, the "Zombies" were now considered people and treated as such in society.

In the Plateau, a hot coffee place has been in business for some time. It was the first Zombie owned coffee shop in Montreal. J-S was one the first baristas employed there and is here to stay because he went to uni to study philosophy but, theres not many jobs in that field of expertise.
