TWiLiGHT SPARKLE

Twilight was the reason I made this post in the first place ^^ I wanted to see her with the young alicorn body type and it sort of just spiraled from there!! I gave her the gradient in her mane and tail because, admittedly, I thought her Rainbow Power design was baller. The eyes were a bit difficult, as I wanted them to still look like Twilight but they looked funny no matter what I did ^^; still, I really like it overall!!

PiNKiE PiE

Pinkie’s was for sure the most fun!! I wanted to cut her mane just a liiittle bit, but I wanted to keep the volume so I gave her that back as well. The heterochromia was an idea I’ve had from the start, as I think yellow and blue should both be equally represented in her design. The white bits were inspired by the bit in Baby Cakes with the flour, and the sprinkles on her tail were inspired by her design in The Last Problem ^^

APPLEJACK

AJ got a stallion body type, first and foremost, because it was the closest I could figure to making her overtly muscular - I figure she’s gotta have a sturdy build considering her job!! Her hat was a bit silly, but I thought it was cute making it apple themed. The stripes in her hair were something I went back and forth on quite a bit, but I eventually decided to keep them for consistency, and I wanted to make her hair a bit neater while still taking up space so I put it in braids ^^

FLUTTERSHY

Fluttershy zomg. I’ve adored her goffik vampire looks since Bats! first aired, so of course I kept her fangs and gave her some accessories!! I made her taller because of her filly form, though that could have been moreso because of her age, I’m not sure tbd but I like making her tall either way, and I love the hair over one eye look. I also gave her some eyeliner :9

RAiNBOW DASH

Whether you think Rainbow Dash is a tomboy or just trans, you know she hates everything “girly,” and I think mascara would have to be a part of that. The short mane is something I think she would have been given from the start if she hadn’t been designed primarily for toys, with Scootaloo being a sort of mini-RD in some respects, as well as her designs in Power Ponies and all of her alternate selves in Re-Mark and her appearance in The Last Problem all adding to this idea. Her goggles are meant to look like those that the Wonderbolts wear, and her tail having the little lightning bolt shape at the end was originally also going to be on her mane but I think I prefer this design ^^

RARiTY

Here is my cast drawing for Season 1!! I didn’t include Ivor because I’m hoping to find time to make a drawing of the original Order of the Stone, and who knows, maybe I’ll even draw some latter S1 or general S2 characters. I really appreciate how expressive they were able to get with just three body types!! The nose shapes and placements especially make the faces, in my opinion, and I hope I did them justice!!

The items in its bag (which aren’t ripped from Cyberpunk 77) include:

A pair of retractable sewing scissors which deal chemical damage

A Cyberpunkified version of my stuffed cat, Pearl

A digital sketchpad, drawn with heavy reference to this ICE-breaker tablet

And its cyberwear serves the following functions:

AudioVox - Allows it to switch between a male and a female voice

Body Plating - Covers its upper torso, hands and legs for purely aesthetic reasons

Biomonitor - Almost everyone (with insurance) seems to have one of these

CyberOptics - Gives it its pink eyes and allows it to see without glasses

Doll Chip - To do Doll things

Dynalar NewTeeth && PowerJaw - Allow it to eat almost anything

Interface Plugs - Seems necessary for the chips and BD recorders? Though I might be wrong
