How did I know you were the one?

When we met, it was just so comfortable. From that first conversation, there was not even a moment of awkwardness. Instead it was just playful, flirty, and fun. Like slipping into that perfect, familiar, well worn pair of jeans, or those comfortable shoes that feel just right. It was sliding into a freshly made bed, and pulling that fluffy, soft down comforter up over your chest. Warm, cozy, safe. It felt perfect.

So many shared interests, our minds often seemed to be one. Saying the same thing at the same time, then laughing at the coincidence. Or was it more?

I truly believe that connected souls always find each other. And it was like our souls already knew they’d met before.
