Was thinking about what everyones job would be in a No Capes AU and i started with Dick (still a detective? Runs a gymnasium?) and then I was like whatever Bruce does is probably a factor and I remember this fic that mentioned Bruce dropped out of medical school (no idea if thats canon or not) so I was like okay what if he finished medical school. Ok so Bruce is a doctor, like his dad. How can Batman factor into being a medical doctor? Well he's probably really good at finding diagnosis and pushing unconventional treatments that somehow work and thats when i realized it. Bruce would be Dr. House

He would send people to patients houses to investigate. He would have them reading the patients tweets from five years ago just to clock the switch from day posting to night posting being related to converting to veganism or whatever. He would have his boss breathing down his back and reprimanding him. He would be unfireable due to his insane success rate (and social position. He's still a Wayne after all)

Tim Drake has a hatred for Sherlock Holmes, has he ever read the books? No but his dad used to insultingly call him Sherlock as a kid when he was being too nosy or curious and now even when people say it as a compliment it just irks him

Jason being the resident classic literature nerd is dead set on at least having Tim read the books so he can either A. Actually like the books and accept that Sherlock is actually a pretty cool guy to be compared too, or B. Give actual tasteful criticism and insults based on the contents of the book

Jason could care less which happens he’s just tired of Tim ranting about his hatred for Sherlock despite not knowing a thing about Sherlock
