Me and band Carp Slides, who I have been collaborating with in Zhengzhou, after our joint show at 7 Livehouse. We played three new songs together, and I also performed two other new ones and showed some videos.

The highlight of my trip - visiting Guolaing village.

This is the nicest thing to have happened on this trip. I briefly visited the crazy-high Guoliang village, way up in the mountains (there was no road there until the 1970s, only the 'Sky Ladder', 702 steps that people climbed). Mr Song is the leader of the village and runs a 'house-museum' of great quirkiness. He told us a story about a fox who lived in the mountains, and I have since made a little song from it. Since I have not really done song/story collecting much before, this was basically my dream come true. Here's his little story.
