My new illustration for the @southseascollective group art exhibition was based on 2 things that stood out to me growing up as a kiwi kid. The Maori voyage from Hawaiki to Aotearoa and Maui’s exploits with his grandmothers jaw bone

Part-time artist and full time dad. Outside of family and work Lee spends his time soaking up sun rays and getting caught on the inside at his local break. He also manages to fit in the odd artshow here and there... Influenced by his culture and environment Lee is a self taught artist who challenges himself in different mediums from illustration, acrylic on wood, to aerosol on recycled 44 gallon drums.
