I hope everyone enjoyed the peace they had in part 6 because it's gonna be angsty for a little bit 🫣

how is xenonite a solid? how did a blood ocean be created by human blood sustain a massive human-composed eel with telepathic abilities? how did simon be affected by said blood and mutate within minutes? how did the sm-13 gain more oxygen? how did he manage to fuse with a seedling and turn into a tree bigger than the previously mentioned cosmic-horror-classified-eel in a matter of seconds?

everything about this is fiction. science fiction, so some of it is possible while the rest is solely up to your imagination. because the two universes are together in my comic I really am not focusing on how real the science should be when Simon just survived a tree bursting out of him before nearly drowning in an ocean of human blood. what I'm drawing is focused on two guys in strangely similar situations meeting in an extremely unlikely and highly impossible way, then try to give them a happy ending. I don't know how space works, but I saw the movies and I'm reading the book because I enjoy pondering it. sometimes it's good to not know everything.

thank you so much!! 💖 I'm going to try and tie in some iron lung references and whatnot but they are from two different universes so tying lore together is a challenge for me 🥲 most of what I have planned will be bounced off Simon and not separate from him.

yes yes the tree!! i know it all happened under the blood ocean in the movie but we never got to see just how big it ended up being so I got to have some fun with that idea :)

here is part 5! I worked on this for about 9 hours straight. I will need more time before the next part to work on my other projects (I am also not unemployed) so please hold back on asking when the next part is coming 🥲
