I have a few ideas for what I'd like to do with the characters. I have to draw small sketches just to fill the blog at least a little. But I can't find the time to draw what I have in mind, and sometimes I don't even have the energy to pick up my tablet. I haven't even finished the comic that would explain what's actually going on in these sketches... Sooner or later, I'll post that too.

Below you can see the tag "Sebastian in Wonderland." I decided to move the characters I love into Wonderland to avoid touching on the game's themes. These two will have to work hard to get used to a new place
These pieces have been sitting in my art folders for about a month now. I kept meaning to post them, but never got around to it. Still, better late than never... I guess. First, I drew Samuel (his hair definitely came out fluffy — not like in the original — let's just pretend he just left a barbershop), then I came up with the idea of him interacting with my Sebastian. I love making comics where characters interact with each other — like 'what would happen if...' That idea led to another piece and a mini comic. I hope Samuel's creator doesn't mind their character interacting with other versions of Sebastian's?
The character designs, as well as their stories, have changed by now, so my art is kind of outdated... I'll keep it for memory, and in future pieces I'll stick to the new designs.

my plan for today was going to be to show the rest of the doodles ive done, but i actually wanted to show something different, just cause i feel like it has an interesting story behind it, and it feels like a nice send off to me
(i have no clue if any specific warnings are needed- ill add the bright colours one in the tags cause of the white and red, but do let me know if anything else is needed-)
bear with me with this ramble-
this was the piece i started i believe the day of the document being released. i think i was in the middle of the sketch when i found out, possibly even working on actually colouring in that sketch for the 'base', i dont entirely remember
i had no specific reasoning or direction behind the piece, though. it was just an idea i thought would be fun and possibly cool to do- i liked the idea of the simple colours and a pose like this, but i couldnt it imagine looking good with any of my other characters, since theyre all human and i didnt think i could get the idea to work with a human character. so i chose cedar
there wasnt much thought put into it, is what i want to emphasise. it was just a fun, dynamic idea i got spontaneously-
i wasnt sure if i was going to finish it initially. but then i thought, y'know, it actually sort of reflected how i felt. the shock, the sudden emotions, the sudden disconnection. so, i decided to finish it.
and i wanted to share it cause it feels like a nice send off for cedar, like i said before. not that i have any ill will against cedar's old design. i dont feel uncomfortable by it, i dont hate it, i could never. but it just feels strange to look at now, i dont have the same connection to it like before.
but, like i said, this piece managed to coincidentally be a decent representation of how i felt. and since cedar was essentially made to be a comfort character for myself, it feels right that the final piece i draw with his old design is one reflecting my own feelings, even if it was unintentional-
i still plan to keep cedar around, of course! if that wasnt obvious- he may genuinely be the only motivation i have for anything currently, i cannot lose him-
he just wont look the same as he did before- (but his personality has barely changed, if at all- theyre still the same anxious bean from before lmao- thats one aspect thatll probably never change about them)
but thank you for the love youve given them, it means a lot!! i started posting about cedar purely cause i was happy with the art i made of them, i couldve never predicted that people would actually enjoy seeing them-
so thank you dearly for that! and i hope the new version of cedar will continue to spark some joy : D

Putting the game aside for now, I still can't let go of the whole sea creatures thing. I've got a few ideas for what I could do with Sebastian. No idea how long they'll stick around or if I'll even continue... But I'd like to share some sketches that helped me distract myself from everything
In addition to thinking about how to move forward with my blog, I decided to take it a step further and create a character. I’ll gradually start incorporating him into my comics and drawing sketches featuring him. Sebastian isn’t going anywhere; he’ll still be part of future projects, but as a character separate from the game’s original story.

I'm not really great at making pretty designs, even when I look at other people's art. Same with social media posts... Anyway, I've got a couple of little tweaks to Sebastian's design. Nothing too fancy...
Also, I'll put a picture of my OC's design below.
Going forward, I'll likely be sketching them more often. Maybe I'll even consider working on some new comics. I just can't not draw — it's literally the only way I can unwind.

After reading quite a few posts — not fully, but I still managed to understand — something terrible has happened... I don't follow the game or its news that closely. I don't want to support the perpetrators in their horrible actions toward innocent people who didn't deserve to be treated that way. I hope the victim receives the help and support they deserve.
As for Pressure...
People who love the characters are not the same as those who support the creators' disgusting actions. Maybe some people think the same way I do.
Personally, for me, my versions of Sebastian and Painter, as well as the other Pressure characters I've created, will be separated from the original game.
After all, for me, the Sebastian I created is already a different person.
I might have to turn them into OCs, change their designs... I don't know what the best thing to do is. I won't be posting anything for a while.
