Opening night is Thursday, then we can actually take some sick days if we want. Which is kind of nice, the pressure of the show can get a bit too much sometimes? It comes with bringing something so beloved to the stage. Baz came to the first show yesterday, and we made him something. The praise was over welleming.  The amount he loves us it’s like you never want to let him down. I am not sure, I haven’t kept up with the fire, but i think it’s fixed now.

It’s always nice to know you can have a break if needed. It can get to be too much, especially if you haven’t been in the swing of things for a little while. I’m proud of you though. You’re going to do amazing in this role. Well I hope everything is alright now.

it’s been that long since you went to comic con, lea? looks like i’m dragging you and darren with me next year. better clear your ever so busy schedule for the greatest high you’ll ever feel. i’ll always fanboy over my obsessed with comics and superhereos. want me to come bother you about the things i know and love about superman? i don’t want you to feel left out.

It has been, apparently. There may have been one time after that, but I haven’t been in the more recent years. So you’re basically saying we’re going to have a mini Glee reunion. If so, the answer is always going to be yes. I’m never too busy when it comes to my favorite boys. I mean, if you’re telling me you’re going to come over here and bother me, how could I resist that? It’s been too long since I’ve seen your smiling face and that needs to change.

Darren: Wish as much as you want but I don’t think you’ll ever come close. That’s just facts. Wow, I can’t believe you’d interpret my big grand bird gesture as a potential threat. I’m so offended. Now I might stop complimenting you for awhile.

Darren: False. If I did come across it than you’d be possibly the worst person ever for making something so too secret be that findable

Lea: Ugh I know. I could only hope and dream to be like her. Well I mean, you can't blame me can you? "Hello here is this dead thing that reminded me of you." Such a compliment. No, never stop complimenting me. My ego needs it to survive.

Darren: Honestly, I cant even blame you there. One of the many areas she’s an inspiration in. Maybe a bird. Might be a little more fitting, you know, since they sing and all too. A little more personal in a way. Nope, not at all. Just speaking the truth like always

Darren: Bull. You’re just saying that because I said it first. I do love the detail though there. Nice touch

Lea: I wish I could be on the same level as her when it comes to being a cat mom. Ugh if only. Hm, a bird does seem more fitting in that sense. But at the same time it also sounds like a threat. Like "hey you sing and so does this bird so here's a dead bird. You're next." You're too good to me, Dar.

Darren: Of course. I think anyone would think the same thing. You really are an inspiration to all single cat ladies. I don’t know how you do it. Imagine if we did. So weird. You’d have the same at your front door, too. Maybe I’d be a little different and not go the lizard route though. Oh stop with that. You could pull it off easily like you can with anything you wear.

Darren: I have a whole huge file on you just in case the day comes where I need to give TMZ something

Lea: Honestly, Taylor Swift is my biggest inspiration. No one else inspires me more to thrive as a cat mom. So are you saying instead of a lizard I'd find a mouse or bird on my front porch every morning? How sweet. Oh shush, you're just buttering me up now.

Darren: You are. Everyone knows you are and you're a good one at that. How weirdly sweet. I guess there are worse gifts out there. To be fair, maybe she didn't murder it but just picked it up after the fact. Wow, it's like you have no faith in me. Obviously my go-to for every occasion is my Hedwig costume. Don't act like you don't love it

Darren: I guess. I mean it sounds like torture but can't be risking my secrets getting out.

Lea: I'm glad you think I'm a good cat mom, because I try my best. Life is hard for a single mom just trying to give her cat the best life. it is weirdly sweet. Like "hey I love you. So have this dead thing I found." I'm glad humans don't show affection in the same way. Otherwise you'd find a dead lizard on your front porch every morning from me. Ugh, I knew it. Oh I definitely do love it. But I have to admit that I'm jealous that your legs look better than mine ever will in an outfit like that.

Darren: Spoken like a true mom. See I knew how to get to you. I knew she was my ticket to you never being able to get rid of me. Right though, for her sake only. That's fine. That just means I can show up in whatever too.

Darren: That's a good and a bad thing, isn't it? We have so much power against each other. So much blackmail potential, too.

Lea: Well I am a very proud cat mom. I mean just the other day she found a dead lizard and brought it to me as a gift. While I don’t condone her murdering things in my honor, I was still super impressed of her skills since those little lizards are fast. I’m almost scared what your definition of “whatever” is. Will it be pajamas? Or will it be your old Hedwig costume? The possibilities are endless.

Darren: That's true. Honestly, that's all I can hope for. I know you'll be just as excited. Don't even try to deny it. But just say when's good for you and I'll come bother you.

Darren: You can't. Too many years and too much time spent together. I might know you better than I know myself sometimes.

Lea: I can’t deny it. Seeing Sheila happy makes me happy. And she’s claimed you, so I guess I have no choice but to keep you. You know, for her sake. Anytime is a good time. I’m never too busy for you. But just know that I won’t be changing out of my pajamas just for you.

troye: i've been bingeing glee hardcore these past few weeks & i'm genuinely wondering how you all managed to perform THAT much per episode

troye: i can barely do setlist for tour & that rarely changes whew. the admiration is real x

Lea: I’m such a proud mom right now.

i’ve been going to comic con for half a decade now and i swear it gets better each time i go. i remember that i got to slip away from my duties and caught a glimpse of the wonder woman panel in 2016 and oh my god, i believe that i teared up because i’ve been in love with diana prince since i was five years old. it was the best thing i’ve ever seen and i’m still finding time to watch the movie. i did the same thing last year when they had the wonder woman 1984 panel as well. too bad warner brothers didn’t come this year but i know they’re cooking up something great for the DCEU. as for this year, i thought it would be cool to attend the marvel panel… as much as i love DC comics, i can say that i’m gonna geek the hell out when captain marvel 2 and black widow come out. it’s a great time to be a comic book fan, guys! anyway, i’m grant and i’m proud to say that i’m a total nerd. @hfrpstarters 

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to Comic Con. I remember heading there with the entire Glee cast back in 2012. I really need to make an effort to attend another one, even if it’s just as an audience member. Look at you, fanboying over your love of comic books and superheroes. It’s adorable, really. I’m glad you’ve been living your best life as a total nerd. But also disappointed that I happened to miss it.

Very lucky, and my pale Scandinavian ones might be a little jealous. But no, it’s never fun getting sunburn and a good idea to keep sunscreen around regardless. Or I guess a huge hat if it really comes down to it. I’m with you on the tequila shots. They just scream for doing with friends and then probably acting wild the rest of the night. 

I usually try to keep a small tube in my purse at all times. Just in case. Because I have a lot of spontaneous beach trips. I feel like hats were never my style. I’ve worn them before, but it takes a special person to be able to really pull off the look of a hat. Tequila shots are mainly for those nights out where you want to go all out and just blackout. 

Wasn’t it supposed to be the opposite, though? It gives plants energy, it should do the same to us. That’s unfair. But yeah, can’t be mad about it, it’s definitely good lazy. I don’t mind feeling tired after a day at the beach. I didn’t do as much exploring as I wanted to, but everything looks beautiful there… You walk down the street and it already looks like you’re in a movie.

If only we had that in common with plants. I envy them for that. But at the same time, if the sun gave me energy I’d still want to stay out in the sun even longer, rather than using my energy for something productive. Well at least you have an idea for some things to do for the next time you’re there. I think you’re referring to yourself, babe. I mean, look at you.

 Right now I am so focused on Moulin Rouge I don’t think it would be fair to try to get anything else. Until I am fully comfortable back on stage again I think I should just focus on being on stage. It’s been eight years I got a lot of kinks to kink out. There was a fire and things blew up and then power was gone. Sleepovers happened all around. We had just got back from a trip though, so I was at home.

I think anything more than just one project would be spreading yourself too thin. Especially with everything going on in your life right now. Plus the stage deserves your full attention since it makes you happy and it’s been a while since you’ve gotten the chance to perform there. Well I hope everything is okay now and there wasn’t any damage from the fire or anything.
