i bite my tongue as my enraged responses float just behind my lips.

i look at you, arms crossed. you hold in your hand the remote to the shock collar so lovingly hugging my neck, finger over the button in the case that i get uncooperative due to repeated slights to my ego. punishing me brutally if i ever insist that i'm an adult.

"m-moo..." my meek, fearful voice finally lets out, only to be showered in praise about how smart i am for knowing my animal noises

being asked babyish questions with unfairly complicated twists that i absolutely won't know.

you mercifully let up, allowing me to pull myself back to a sitting position, wiping the saliva from my face and panting.
