like yes of course, if you’re disabled or live in the middle of nowhere sometimes Amazon is your only option, but as someone who is able bodied and lives in a major city I know for a fact there are other able bodied people living in major cities… who can absolutely afford to stop using Amazon, and just aren’t… like genuinely, not everyone is the exception and some people do need to take responsibility for the choices they’re actively making!!!

of course people can and should go to concerts of artists they don’t know very well. That’s how some people become a bigger fan in the first place!! HOWEVER….. if you’re not that big of a fan, you shouldn’t be looking bored and confused or irritated or scrolling on your phone when the artist starts singing one of the 15 songs you don’t know??? If you go to the concert of an artist who sings one song you liked from 10 years ago you shouldn’t be bothered that they’re mostly singing songs from the album that came out 3 months ago that you didn’t bother to listen to??? basically just be an engaged audience member it’s not that hard

not to mention there’s plenty of American-made pieces of media I enjoy that most Americans aren’t watching or reading either, like I don’t think whether the general public of a country consumes a piece of media or not determines its worth in any way

when I think of RGU I’m usually thinking about the overarching story and the deep messages and the harrowing implications etc etc but in the show itself there are actually so many cute little moments where Miki and Utena are just having lunch together, or Touga and Juri are taking good-natured jabs at each other in conversation, like they are just normal kids at the end of the day which makes Everything Else all the more horrifying
